INTRODUCTION
Database interrogation is a process that can use for selecting an appropriate entry for
particular database. All the entries are stored within database in particular field. It comprising the
input which means to operate and receive the data. It is necessary to process data so that it is
stored and filtered in effective way. Also, it helps in analyzing data and information by following
a specific process. This report will discuss about the prototype website that help for managing
and controlling the information related to the business operations and functions (Ojo, 2019). It
will design to build a prototype website and also using a suitable logo and dynamic layout.
Furthermore, this assignment will describe the database system of library management by using
MS Access. At last, it will implement a design which allows for people to maintain all the
information in proper manner.
TASK 1
Role of information system strategy in an organization and its integration with overall corporate
strategy
Information system is an important concept that helps for managing and controlling the
overall performance of business. Many organizations strive to be market leaders in the global
industry. They always plan an effective strategy to handle the competition level and pressure.
One such type of strategy is adapting the information system within specific company.
Information system helps for organization to make adequate decision for the use data and also
reduced workload (Adrian and Adriana, 2018). It is supported the business task by using
database system which is the best medium to handle update the details related customers and
products. Manager plays important role in the organization to track all the activities that
performed by employees. It is clearly handled and supports the main goals and objectives.
Companies are used the different type of software to store the information through MIS, QAS
and ERP etc. There are different roles of information system strategy in the business
development.
Information storage and analysis- Many organizations have no longer to manage the
information and data in proper manner. It is manually with registers all the information in the
form of hard copy format (Sumathi, Subhalakshmi and Sanjitha, 2018). Companies can make use
the comprehensive and sophisticated database that contains all the data about the firms. In this
way, it is analyzing data, store and update in appropriate manner.

Assist with making decision- It is the long term success of organization which depends
on the strategic planning. A company management team uses the information system and
formulate the plan according to the requirement of business (Aslam and Tarmizi, 2018). The
enterprise uses of information system is mainly evaluated the data from the different sources
such as external references like bloom berg. It analyzing the comparison between the market
trends to maintain the quality of decision.
Assist with the business processes- Information system is developing a large amount of
value added on the business process. For Example- A company can integrate with information
system with manufacturing cycle and also ensure that it produces complies with the need of
quality management standards. It simplifies adapting the business process and also removes all
the necessary activities. Furthermore, Information system is eliminating all repetitive tasks to
increase the accuracy which allows for employee to concentrate on the business functionality.
Analyzing information – IS stores large data sets in a structured way. It helps in
analyzing information and obtaining crucial data. Moreover, through analysis managers develop
strategies and takes effective decisions. For instance, there is a lot of information about
competitors in different markets (Naik, Devaraj and Kumari, 2019). So, by analyzing info
managers can evaluate each competitor performance in the market. Then, accordingly strategies
are developed.
Ability to analyse the case study and apply the concept on web pages.
Web pages is a type of digital documentation that can be represented as a dynamic design
through website. Initially, it is required for developer to plan a strategy to handle all the
operations and functions. According to case study, it will be creating a city college library
website that shows different web pages in proper manner. According to case study, there are
large number of books in the library. The college is decided to create a plan for making digital
library system that helps for student those who are issues the book through the website. It is
collection of books whereas each author may be written by one book. It also happens when one
author write many books (Brown and Bell, 2018). It is beneficial for student and other customer
to choose the book on the basis of their needs. It will design City College library website for
creating different type of web pages. Each and every page shows unique information regarding
books, members, authors and journals etc. It is required for designer to choose the best layout,
formats, images, color so that they can be representing in effective manner.

City college library management is generally used different type of template that consists
of various information such as background, CSS Style, borders and buttons etc. this website has
owned and specific design element that required for maintaining all the information in proper
manner (Naik, Devaraj and Kumari, 2019). There are some important features added in the City
college library management system.
 Keep records of complete information about the author name, book name and bill no.
 It also classifies the book in subject wise.

Skill and Mind set needed to design or operate an effective information system
It is an essential for organization to design an efficient information system so that we can
say that library management system is the example for collecting and gathering all information in
it. On the other hand, managers are playing important role in the company to operate the entire
task in effective manner. In order to operate and maintain IS it is necessary to possess required
skills. This is because it helps in effective operating and handling of system. However, person
should know about different elements of IS as well. There are some important skills and
knowledge requires for manager to easily handle the task.
Skills- Analytical skill- It is important skill that required for analyzing the need and requirement
of design. It also helps for manager to include the ability and logical thinking in order to
break all the complex issues in proper ways. It is also contrasted against the non cognitive
skill that could balance the work life (de Jager, Nassimbeni and D’Angelo, 2018). This
skill is ability to analyze and collect the information about the design pattern or approach.
This is the main strength of business to improve its overall productivity and profitability. Interpersonal skill- This skill is applicable in day to day life for interacting with the
customers, manager and other colleagues. It is important process based on the individual
and group. Manager has become good interpersonal skill to build connectivity with the
other members (Mishra, 2018). It includes listening, understanding and questioning etc. It
depends on the manager those who are trying to create a healthy environment in the
organization. Leadership Skill- Leadership skill is another main element in the terms of information
system whereas manager always influences the team members and other people to
complete their task. They also combined together to achieve the goals and objectives. In
this way, each and every member are developed their knowledge to use the digital
information system for increasing the performance and efficiency. Problem solving skill- it is process for working through the problem and issues that
occurs during the task execution. For designing a digital information system, it is an
essential for business process to implement new concepts and methods. It is necessary for

business development to easily identify the problem and then solving through innovative
idea and concepts.
Mind Set- Reflective mind set- This type of mind set is useful for the business process because it
easily modified the mind according to the situation and conditions. For Example- In
organization, manager is playing specified role to determine the requirement of business.
They always analyzing the new concept to implement in their own business process.
They would be contributed towards the objectives. Reflective mind set is better for long
term business because it easily adapting a new thing for success (Ifijeh, ebayo and
Olawoyin, 2018.). This will help for manager to easily adopt new things and
implementing the ideas in business operations. Action mind set- This type of mind set is determining to situation and move from
thinking about the something that actually happen. It reflects the mind on the basis of
action that occurs in the business process. Action mind set pulls everything together
through the process for changing the criteria. For Example- there are many challenges
faced by the designer at the time of operation development. It must be keeps inspiring,
energies for entire team members. All peoples are mainly focused towards the specific
goals and vision (Mane and Panage, 2018). For Example- in library management,
members are mainly focused to determine the each record of books and managed that
how many people are issued a book by using online library database system. Analytical mind set- This type of mind set is beneficial for business because people can
think the situation and analyses all the details in appropriate manner. It is the strength of
every employee to collect the relevant information about the current project. It also useful
for solving the problem of business and improve the overall productivity and
profitability.
 Collaborative mind set- It is the most important concept and challenges for team leader
to collaborate with their team members. Manager is trying to create an effective
relationship with their colleagues and also sharing their opinion or view points towards
the business process. This is the best approach to handle all type of relationship in
appropriate manner.

Ability to design and implement the relational database by converting the entity diagram into
relational tables
An ERD (entity relationship diagram) is a structural representation of entire database. It
provides enough information of different elements in database and relationship between them. In
this each entity is related to other which defines relationship between them. It also shows
relationship between symbols, attributes, entities, etc. (Mane and Panage, 2018) Basically, an
ERD is designed to develop database system. There are several keys also inserted in it such as
primary, foreign key, etc. It is simple to develop database through ERD as it gives user an insight
about relationship between entities and attributes.
A primary key depicts unique record in a database. It means that when one record shares
same value then primary key is assigned to it. Whereas foreign key is a reference of primary key
given in a table. It denotes that multiple records can share same value.

A database is a structured set of data in which all records and information is stored. It is
composed of two elements that is entity and attribute. An entity represents a table and an
attribute represent trait of that entity. For example- Entity is customer than its attributes will be
customer id, customer name, customer contact no., etc. Database helps in storing data in an
effective way. Also, through this user can easily access the data. Moreover, it benefits in
effective data integration and describes how data and information flows and processed. In
present database of library management system the entities taken are as follows :-

A form consists of several fields which makes it easy for user to create table and insert data.
With help of it, fields can is inserted, deleted or updated in a database. The user gets an idea

A database report describes the results of queries. So, by analysing queries it is easy to take
decision regarding change in front and back end user. From report, data can also be extracted
through different languages. Therefore, a query is run either into HTML, HTTP or SQL
language. It provides a detailed description of entire queries and results.

TASK 2 D
User guide enables in creating a document in which policies and procedures of organisation
are explained. This gives a brief description about what procedures should be followed in a
particular process (Brown and Bell, 2018). Moreover, it provides tools for designing pages and
deploying them in system. It also provide default page that displays system navigation and its
documents. There are different types of user guide such as activate system, configure help page,
etc. In present database user guide is created that includes procedure of how to use database.
TASK 2 E
A navigation form enables in switching between forms and report. It contains controls
through which report and database is navigated. In addition to it, navigation makes it easy in
accessing or creating forms, queries, tables, etc. In present database navigation form is created to
provide access of all forms to user. By this user will be able to control and switch between
different forms.

CONCLUSION
As per discussion, it concluded that Database interrogation is a process that can use for
selecting an appropriate entry for particular database. All the entries are stored within database in
particular field. It comprising the input which means to operate and receive the data. This report
discuss about the prototype website that help for managing and controlling the information
related to the business operations and functions it summarised that building a website and also
using a suitable logo and dynamic layout. However, the database system of library management
by using MS Access. It implements a design which allows for people to maintain all the
information in proper manner.
