INTRODUCTION
Academic research and writing provide the reader with a good range of details with the
evidences to support the point of study (Ruan and et.al 2020.). Rise of globalisation is
developing opportunities for the business, as it is increasing the demand of technology, adapting
new technology is beneficial as it eases the work as well as reduce the redundancy from the work
place operation. This report will cover the current business issues related to the adaption of new
technology for the business operation. it also involves the reflective writing and personal
development plan which focus on the academic skills to improve the skills and develop the
knowledge for the futuristic properties.

Business issues of adapting new technology:
Technologies are always carry out the work easily, it provides the better solution to deal with any
problem. But along with its advantages it has disadvantages too which impacts the organisational
functionality very badly some issues are-
lack of skills and knowledge:
Technology always required a better skills and knowledge in a person to operate with, as
operating and implementing the technological devices are considering as the complex part.
Therefore, for the company’s like Sainsbury, Tesco, Mark and Spencer to adapt the new
technology they must need to hire the professional who have greater knowledge to deal with the
technology.
Positive response of the companies related to adapting new technology:
Adapting new technology always associated with many processes as it enables the organisation
to make changes accordingly, also it drives the change in environment for the work place. As the
technology like Internet of Thing, Artificial intelligence helps out the company to carry out their
work effectively and accurately. While use of Artificial intelligence technology company can
easily make their decisions, it reduce the time taken in the processes, also it is able to increase
the productivity of business (Palepu and et.al 2020). Therefore, Sainsbury, Mark and Spencer,

Unilever company can proceed to implement AI in their organisational operation as it enables
them to improve the customer relationship with their product and services.
Benefit of adapting new technology:
While using AI technology for business companies like Sainsbury, Tesco they can easily proceed
to provide the virtual assistant activity which is helpful for giving the real time cooperation to the
customer so that their issues can be solved. other than this technology IOT, Block chain, digital
technologies also beneficial for the business. By adapting the IOT technology Tesco, Mark and
Spencer, Unilever can able to record the data which is used to track the specific processes, this
technology is able to boost the efficiency of the organisation, with this they are able to make the
effective decisions for the business (Kitsios and Kamariotou, 2017).
Negative response of the company towards the new technology adaptation:
The major challenge associated with the technology is its complexity as well as cyber-attack.
most of the company has been facing problem in operating with the technology because of its
complexity but also cyber-attack is problem which can give the lead the company to lost in their
important data as well as loss in revenues. therefore, for the Sainsbury, Tesco company if they
are implementing the technology they must need to ensure its reliability, as they proceed to
provide the training programs to their employees so that they can easily handle the new
technology. As for the maintenance of the technological equipment also requires the large
investment which can also impact the finance resources of the company.
Technology advancement gives the better decision process for the company but it also
reduces the man power, which can be disadvantage what if the situation arises in which the
technology fails to meet the outcomes in such the company look for their potential employee
(Boros, 2019). As there are some task which can only carry out with the help of human power.
technologies like Artificial intelligence, Internet of things associated with the data theft risk,
what if the cyber attacker hack the system in such companies has to face huge loss in their
revenues also it torn their image in their market field.

Reflective writing
Reflective writing is concern with the analytical practice as it allows me to reflect on my inner
self as to write down my thoughts and feelings for the specific situation. As from the module
learning I learn about new concepts which is related to the technology. it helps me to go through
new technological aspect which I have never experience before it is the up and down journey for
me. During the learning process I was so scared as I will be able to develop my knowledge about
the topic, because the subject is big in its aspect and involves complexity. Because of this in
always comes on time so that I will give more time in learning process. with this I improve my
time management skills which is beneficial for carrying out the work in a given time or in a good
manner (Balocco and et.al 2019). Also with the initiation of the learning lecture I arrange all the
learning notes and stuffs which helps me to enhance my grip on the subject, it gives confidence
in me to learn the complex things. during the learning of the module professor divides us in a
group project which helps me to share my thoughts and opinions over the topic it also improves
my communication skills at good extent still I required some more practices to completely
improve my communication skills.
Importance of learning:
Learning of new things always brings good changes through which I will be able to move
forward in my career. changes always bring new energy, and enable to explore the other things
which helps to improve skills and knowledge. as for me I was not gone through any situation in
which I have to learn about the complex technology, before starting the learning new things I
was thinking as studying this can be beneficial or not. But with the help of notes given by the
seniors and easy approach which is my professor suggest, helps me a lot in completing the whole
process. As the new learning about the technology helps me at great extent as I know the
technology are anticipating the world it creates a employment in the market. Therefore, it is
important for me to have good command on technology. overall experience was good and also it
makes me able to easily adapt complex things (Haseeb and et.al 2019).
for the future benefits this module enables me to learn or enhance my knowledge about
different field. As working in the group project enhance my knowledge about the leadership
skills, as I was so active when my teammates comes to me for discussion we all work together as
a team which also enable me as to work in a team. For my career it is very beneficial as to work

in a team as to share the thoughts and opinions which can helps me to complete the complex task
for the company. Also it is beneficial to working with team to develop good leadership skills
which is important to lead or motivate the team at work place, leadership skills are very
important as it is directly linked with the productivity of the company (Yablonsky, 2018).
Therefore, I have faced many challenges to complete this learning module activity, it also helps
me to enhance my knowledge about new things as well as to develop the new skills for better
future opportunity.

new change for the organisation. As it makes the companies able to carried out their operations
