The business information system gets data and other resource of IT infrastructure as input
from other environment and process them to satisfy the information requirements of multiple
entities. These are completely associated with the business enterprise.
The report will discuss about the use of IT system with different function of organization. It
may contribute to achievement of objective and also perform the different activities such as
store, process data for knowledge management, data management and customer relationship

system to maintain overall business capabilities. There are different function performed by
Sainsbury’s and how they can IT system for managing the overall performance in proper
manner.
Data Management: it is mainly referred as management of data in the organization.
Generally, it involves for gathering company’s information such as financial, accounting,
purchasing, employees details. IT system supports for organization to manage or store the
information in proper manner. In this way, Sainsbury’s use IT system which means to store and
process of data whenever requirement (Azeroual and Abuosba, 2019). By using IT system,
Sainsbury’s also targeting the existing customer through better quality of product as well as
services. It also maintained the security or privacy aspects so that establishing the trust between
customer and management. This can be possible when Sainsbury’s use IT system to provide the
better facilities of customers.
