For this assignment the organization that has been selected is the FMGC Company Coca-
Cola Amatil. Its range of operations includes bottling of non-alcoholic drinks, alcoholic drinks,
water, hot beverages and food. The sphere of business arrangements that has been selected is the
compliance requirements that the company is needed to be following under the Australian
Consumer Law enforced by the Australian Competition and Consumer Commission.

Compliance requirements
As the company is based in Australia the company is bound to be complying with the
food safety regulations of the country. Every business in Australia that has been involved in
handling food needs to comply with the standards of the food safety that have been outlined by
the Food Standards Australia New Zealand (FSANZ). The regulations the company needs to
comply with are:
 Production of safe food under the Food Production (Safety) Act 2000 and the Food
Production (Safety) Regulation 2014 and verification of safety and quality of the products
under the Food Act 2006, the Food Regulation 2006.
 As Coca-Cola Amatil is a food and drink manufacturer, they also have to comply with the
measurement standards and rules that are mentioned in the Trade measurement section
that can be found in the National Measurement Institute for compliance information.
 Being aware of the specific codes for packaging and labeling and standards under the
Food Standards Code.
