Introduction
Business law is said to be utmost important aspects of every business
organisation. All laws that are associated to form and operate a business
are needed to be follow in more appropriate manner so that changes of
mistake can be minimised. This will be consists of various laws that are
being govern about how to run, buy, manage and control any types of
business activities.

Monopolies and anti-competitive practice
legislation in UK
According to the mentioned treaty which is being signed as first legislation in
1948. The monopoly and restrictive practices act that is being established
as a monopoly commission to make proper investigation as anti-
competitive behaviour. Competition is utmost important aspects which
plays a dominant role in market.

Role of competition commission
In order to deal with any unethical practice, competition commission is the
primary body that regulate the competition laws in UK more effectively. It
is primary duty of competition parties to make appropriate enquires as per
the market follows which are being mentioned under competition laws.

Dominant positions within EU common market
Dominant stage is said to be that parts which a firm is in that
condition which is having substantial power which is being
associated to a particular goods in respect to various market.
Like for example, EC market would be abuse of dominant
position in various locations as first essential situation.

Application of EU exemptions
• There are various exemptions those are associated with anti-competitive
practices. Some fo them are discuss underneath:
• Individual exemption
• Block exemption
• Parallel exemption
