Topic: The impact of COVID-19 and Brexit on Broadgate Campus.
INTRODUCTION
COVID-19 can be referred to as an infectious disease which is caused by the corona
virus. People who fall sick with this disease usually experience mild to moderate symptoms. The
most common symptoms of the same include tiredness, dry cough, fever etc. On the other hand,
less common symptoms include aches and pains, sore throat and a loss of taste as well as smell.
This report is based on analyzing the impact of COVID-19 along with Brexit on Broadgate
Campus, which is a large real estate in the Bishopsgate, London (Bann and et.al., 2020). This
area caught my interest because the recent outbreak of the corona virus has impacted the world in
a negative manner. Various organizations operating across different industries have faced the
consequences of the same. Also, this is one of the most studied concepts recently. The respective
study will be of benefit to the readers as they will get a chance to enhance their existing
knowledge about the same. Apart from this, the gap that the findings of the research will fill is
that they will help in generating awareness about the impact of COVID-19 on the employees
working across various companies.
Research Questions
 How has the concept of flexible working evolved during the outbreak of COVID-19
disease?
 What is the impact of COVID-19 on the motivation level of employees and satisfaction
levels of customers within a company?
 What are the changing skills that employees will be required to have during the time of
COVID-19?
The research topic is of both practical as well as academic importance because it will
help in enhancing the overall knowledge of the readers about the current situation of the disease
along with the overall impact on different sectors (Bartik and et. al., 2020). Also, it will help in
generating awareness about how flexible working has evolved during the pandemic.
