The Objective that was set for this project
was to launch the Food Test Laboratory on 1
July 2019
Another main objective that was set for the
project is successful incorporation of Fipronil
Testing.
Both the objectives and the priorities of the
Project were Met

Changes in Schedule
There were certain changes in the schedule
of the project.
The major contributing event for the
scheduling change in the project is
incorporation of the Fipronil Testing
Lack of the resources needed to complete a
particular task added to the changes in project
schedule.

Cost Overrun
The contributing event of the schedule
change resulted in cost overrun in the project
The change in duration of a particular activity
from 13 days to 17 days has resulted in the
increase in cost
The resource shortage can be termed as
another reason for the cost overrun.

Lesson Learnt and Suggestion
LESSON LEARNT
The major lesson learnt in the project are as
follows-
A well structured project plan is needed to be
developed in order to successfully complete a
project.
A project should involve scope of change
management
SUGGESTIONS
The suggestions for this project are as follows-
It is suggested that more resource is needed
in order to ensure that there is no change in
the duration of the project.
Development of an appropriate project plan
with scope of change management is
recommended for this project.
