INTRODUCTION
 Developing academic and professional skill is concerned with building those tactics in personality
that can help in achieving desirable career in effective manner.
 In the current era, there is major requirement of building academic & professional skills so that
higher competitiveness to overcome prevailing competition can become possible.
 Present study will describe challenges of studying management & thriving in professional
practice.
 Current study will highlight significance of effective academic and professionals skills
development and one important skills & action to developed will be comprised.

 The one of the major issue related with studying business management is that it is lengthy and vast
subject that comprises various theories, models, concepts, etc.
 Lack of communication is seen while studying business management that does not make it interactive for
learners and leads to build up only theoretical concepts.
 While studying business management, the crucial issue that need to be specified include absence of
structure (Mallia, 2017).
 There is lack of inadequate support from the senior management to accomplish related projects and
assignment.
 Other challenges includes lack of awareness regarding its significance, much emphasis on conducting
thumb rule for carrying operational practices, higher financial risk, low implementation of technological
management, etc.

IMPORTANCE OF EFFECTIVE ACADEMIC
AND PROFESSIONAL SKILL DEVELOPMENT
 Academic skills are considered to be important as allows student to get encouraged to perform and become efficient
learners.
 It builds critical thinking among learners so that higher ability for problem solving can be derived.
 This provides opportunity for the users to gain capabilities to develop effective career by inclining confidence,
competence and self esteem.
 The of the main factor that can be obtained by developing academic skill as it provides opportunity to decline anxiety
about test and deadlines for improving ability to learn & retain can be derived (Bastges-Lienshöft and et.al., 2021).
 Professional skill development in highly important as provides capabilities to build distinct characteristics and
attributes in turn accomplishing objective of gaining success in carer becomes possible.
 It involves leadership, team work, emotional intelligence, organization, flexibility., communication, self motivated and
problem solving, critical thinking, etc.
