Academic skills are the abilities, techniques and
behaviour which could assist beginners achieve
an educational setting. They typically construct
on college students' mastery of literacy and
technical topics like arithmetic and science.
Developing instructional abilities may also
enhance the capacity to learn, take tests, engage
with different college students and entire
projects.

Challenges of studying business management and
thriving in professional practice (with appropriate
examples)
Some challenges faced while studying business management are:
• Getting Right Data
• Internal management Coordination
• External Market Challenges
Some challenges of thriving into professional practices are
• Working in a constantly changing environment
• Spend money and time on advertising and marketing
• Managing your professional and non-professional staff

The importance of effective academic skills development
Academic skills are basically the abilities and strategies that helps learners to succeed in their academic
goals.
Some of the academic skill which apply to workplaces -
• Time management
• Research skills
• Computer skills
• Self-discipline
• Writing

The importance of effective professional skills development
Today, professional world is becoming increasingly competitive and is constantly changing, an
individual work in any industry that doesn’t matters, what matters is their continue learning about their
sectors and do their assigned work and their best in that. professional development framework increases
are core ability as well. to enable this, one needs to increase their knowledge, abilities, skills and
experience for present tasks and any potential future tasks for many reasons like:
• To demonstrate the employee’s senior that they have made plans for, updated and regularly
maintained their abilities to do work in a structured manner.
• To provide a way for employer to demonstrate that they can compete professionally. In a retrievable
manner the information is stored.

What do I want to learn? What do I have to do? What support and resources will I need? Target date for review?
Time management skills To develop this, I focus on completing the work before the
deadline by developing different types of ways that not
only save my time but also allow me to keep pace
throughout the task.
I need to develop a schedule that includes daily routine
tasks. These tasks are very important to me. I have to
reach them all within the given deadline. At the same time,
I'm starting to read books about time management tips
and tricks

Stress management tactics To do this, I first need to understand the concept of stress
management and apply it to my daily routine environment
as I don't easily deal with the pressure of panic attacks.
Videos, books, live sessions with experts and many more
resources are used by me to manage stress
effectively(Toghi, 2018).

Summary
From the above presentation, it has been concluded that academic skills are basically the abilities,
techniques and behaviour which could assist beginners to achieve an educational setting. whereas the
professional skills are those which allows to achieve a job. There are many challenges an individual
faces while studying business management like getting the right data, internal management
coordination, external market challenges and many more.
