IntroductionThis is an assignment based on a business organisation and the environment of that particularbusiness organisation. Here in this assignment, the researcher has chosen Heineken. Along withthis, there is a description about swot analysis and PESTEL analysis of this particular companyor organisation. The effectiveness of SWOT and PESTEL analysis is also discussed in thisassignment. In this assignment, the researcher also described the business environment ofIreland. Therefore, it can be said that with the help of this assignment the overall businessstructure and environment of Heineken can be understood.Background information ofHeinekenHeineken is a popular beer company, which contains 5% of alcohol. This is an internationalcompany and the company is situated in Netherlands. The company has been introduced asHeineken in 1873 but before being introduced as Heineken the company existed with a differentidentity. The company has won two awards for their products recently. Heineken also maintainstheir health policies at the time of making beers. Therefore, it can be said that the products ofHeineken are very harmless for their customers. The company has three types of products in theircompany. The products include Heineken Oud Bruin, Heineken premium Light and HeinekenTarwebok. As it is an international company, therefore, the company serves their productsamong 170 countries worldwide. Heineken has their branches in Ireland also. In 2001, thecompany had changed its name from Heineken to Heineken Ireland Limited. Along with this, thecompany has online facilities also. They are well communicated with their customers thisprocess can impress their customers more. The company has adopted various advertisingtechniques to promote their products or company. Heineken has identified as the mostinternational premium beer company in the comparison with other international beer companies.Background information on a business environment of IrelandIreland is an island of Europe in North Atlantic. This is the second most populated island ofEurope. As Ireland is a cold place, therefore it can be said that the people or Ireland take the helpof various beers to get comfort. The cold level of Ireland can get below 0 degrees for 40 days ofthe year. Therefore, the beers companies are very popular among the people of Ireland. Manytourists also come to visit the place they also need some comfort to save from cold. The peopleof Ireland use hot oil to save from cold. There is a huge sale of beers and the beer companies get3

success by producing beers. According to the accounts, the 60% of beers are sold in Ireland. Thecompany Heineken has a large share in the business market of Ireland. There are manycompanies like Dublin but they cannot get as success as Heineken. The people or customers ofIreland like Brewery in Cork. In Ireland, there is weather with cloud and rainfall in maximumdays. The people of Ireland are known as the Irish.There are various Irish cultures on this island. Their language can be known as Irish Languagebut they are very much influenced by English literature. The people of Ireland like to play manykinds of games like football, rugby, cricket and so on. The Irish people also like music.Therefore it can be said that the people of Ireland are very fun loving. The reason behind theinfluenced of English is they are also a part of Britain. Ireland is a part of United Kingdom thegovernment of Britain gives them freedom to make their country as Ireland. In the year 1949,Ireland has their republic of Ireland.
