 IG Tech is a medium size company with nearby 5000 employees.
 The company is operational in fragmented industry. That means the industry basically
deals in small or medium size industry.

There are many opportunities and challenges (threats) before IG Tech, which can be
explained below-

 Selling products in those
countries where the Electronics
Industry is not tha developed
(Wen, Zhou, and Yang, 2020).
 Modifying their products in a
manner which offers higher value
to the customers. Prices should
not be indicating high increase.
 High and advanced technology of
United Kingdom can provide
significant growth opportunities
under business environment,
which IG Tech can utilise.
 High prices of raw material is a
threat for company.
 Availability of numerous
substitute goods ad services can
impact their business adversely.
 High and fast growth of IT sector
influence their customers to
switch to other companies
services.

PEST Analysis
 Political factors- It includes stability of government, tax policy, trade restrictions, tariffs
and etc. Singapore has stable political environment. Companies are risk free from political
interference in United Kingdom.
 Economical factors- This factor includes overall economical conditions of a nation. GDP,
inflation rate, interest rate and many others are elements fall under economical factor.
 Social factors- This factor describes the behaviour of customer of a particular region. It
includes income distribution, age distribution, purchasing power of citizens, their religions
and many others.
 Technological factors- It includes level of innovation, research and development,
automation and etc. within a nation. Technology level in UK is very high and advance. The
main reason behind their high standard of living is continuous development in technology.

SWOT Analysis
SWOT is an internal environmental analysis of company which is done to remove
obstacles inside the company. SWOT analysis of IG Tech is explained below-
Strength- effective workforce, well trained and
qualified, of the IG Tech help them to achieve the
success.
Weakness- Raw material for manufacturing electrical
irons are expensive, which results in high prices of
finished goods.
Opportunities- Selling electronic products in those
countries where IT sector is weak is an good
opportunity for company(Bigo, Raj and Situmeang,
2021) .
Threat- labour cost is too high which in Singapore which
results in contributing a large proportion of profit
sharing goes to labours of company.

Conclusion
Therefore, potential investors for IG Tech, seems to be in multiple sort of significant return
on investments, if they decide on choosing to invest in company. The political and
economic environment of favorable nature are the most supportive one. Also, the quality
workforce, forming biggest strength of company is enabling to hardly make company face
downfall. Further, progressive technological environment in United Kingdom is another
assurance in the discussion.
