Business plan is a written document which describes that how a business can operates
and accomplish its organisational objectives. It includes all strategies and plans which are
essential to achieve goal of company. In this report chosen organisation is A1 Surveillance which
is a manufacturer of CCTV scanner. The main aim of this report is to prepare a business plan to
fulfil the objectives of corporation. This report has discussed about following topics such as
purpose and business plan, values, identity and different types of market research to develop
business and ethical dilemma faced by the organisation. Apart from this diversity and equality
law has also discussed.
TASK 1
Develop a small business plan
Business plan is a blue print for an organisation which comprise all plans and policies
which are needed to achieve the goal and objectives of company. It is defined in written
document which assist the organisation to take essential steps so that it can accomplish its
targets.
Business plan and name: A1 Surveillance is an organisation which is manufacturer of
CCTV scanner. Organisation produce this product for security purpose as because crime rate is
increasing day by day. So this unique business idea can help to minimize the illegal and
unethical activities. There are various unethical and illegal activities such as robbery, stealing
etc.
Target consumers, location and industry
The target consumers are household and commercial persons. The company is located in
London, Barton Road and organisation is belongs to information technology industry. It is
essential for an organisation to target the right consumers so that it can generate more
profits and achieve sustainable growth and success in future.

For an organisation it is essebtail to follow the business model so that tasks can be
performed on the basis of it which help the corporation to achieve its goals and objectives.

Primary research has been conducted by the researcher to collect data directly from the
respondents rather than depend upon any other indirect source. Data can be collected by face to
face interviews, observation and online survey. A1 Surveillance can know the recent trends and

Discuss about ethical dilemma
Ethical dilemma refers to a situation when a person has to choose one alternative from
the different alternatives as a result an issue can be resolve. For a company it is not easy to
choose one alternative form various alternatives because all alternatives has some advantage and
disadvantage. and it create the situation of ethical dilemma to choose best. (Jones and Penaluna,
2013).
Case
As per the situation organisation wants to promotes its business so that it is thinking to
take help of a company which can promotes its website at a discounted rate. But management
has involved in discrimination, bullying and harassment activities with its employees. There is a
situation of dilemma in front of corporation that is, it should take the help of that company or not
for promotional activities of its websites at discounted rate. If company takes has taken the
help of that organisation than brand image can be influenced and its staffs, feel demotivated so
corporation should not take assistance of that company. For example, Legal and general group
provides various insurance products and services. There was a situation of ethical dilemma in
front of organisation when its starts business that organisation can provide insurance policies or
not, to those persons who are involve in criminal activities. If it deals with those persons than
reputation of company can be influence so that its management has decide that corporation
should not provide insurance policies to those individuals who involve in criminal activities. This
decision helps the company to solve the situation of ethical Immanuel.
Conclusion: A1 Surveillance should not take the help of that company because it treats
its employees badly and management involves in discrimination, bullying and harassment
activities. It can search for another company which can promotes its websites at a discounted
rate and reputation is good in the market. . It solves the situation of ethical dilemma and help the
organisation to increase brand image. Legal and general group has decided that it does not deal
with those persons who involve in criminal activities as a result its reputation does not get
affected. With the help of this decision situation of ethical dilemma can be resolve. So in both
cases company is focusing to follow social values which help it to increase reputation and brand
image.

Equality and diversity law
For a company it is important to follow the equality and diversity law while selecting the
applicants. It is the responsibility of management to follow the regulations of equality and
diversity law so that staffs can get equal pay . For an organisation it is essential to protect the
rights of workers so that they can perform their roles and duties effectively which help the
corporation to accomplish its goals and objectives. Zero hour contract is basically for call or
piece work which means employees can be call by a corporation whenever company has needs
of staffs. Statutory annual leave and nominal wages can be given to staffs as per the regular
workers who work in the organisation. Government of United Kingdom has introduced equality
and diversity law so that rights of employees can be protected. As per this law:
 Organisation has to follow all legal compliances in context to elimination of
discriminatory practices.
 It is the responsibility of company to treat equal it’s all employees who work in the
organisation.
 An organisation has not allowed to make differentiation on the basis of wages and
working hours.
Equality and diversity law has been followed by A1 Surveillance by providing the same
facilities and benefits to its workers so that interest of employees can be protected. Company
provides the same employment opportunities to its staffs so that they feel satisfied as a result
they can perform their roles effectively. It does not make differentiation on the basis of race and
gender. On the basis of salary there is no differentiation and employees get salary as per their
types of roles and designation. Organisation follow employment laws and compliances which
helpful to protect the interest of employees.
Rights for new employees: A1 Surveillance has focuses protect the rights of their staffs which
is helpful to fulfil the needs and wants of staffs as a result their desires can be satisfy. There are
various rights which are possess by the employees in the organisation which are described as
follows:

 Staffs has right to get safe working environment so that they can work effectively.

controlled to produce economic value are termed as assets to A 1 surveillance. Assets owned by
company are furniture, machines, factory premises etc (Fernández-Guerrero and Simón-Moya,
2012).
Liabilities- Future sacrifices of economic benefits that A 1 surveillance is obliged to
make to other entities as a result of some past transactions is termed as liability. Liabilities are
burden in future that needs to be paid such as loans, payment to creditors, payment of other
outstanding expense.
Expense- Expenses consists of economic cost a business incurs through its operations to
earn revenue. Expenses incurred by A1 surveillance is salary to employees, cost of
manufacturing and various other operational cost.
Gain- Gain is considered as increase in the value of investment or earning through
operating activities of business. A1 surveillance gains through selling various cameras or through
making some capital investment (Burns and Dewhurst 2016).
Budget prepared to avoid cash flow issues- Cash flow is prepared for various business
activities to calculate cash generated by performing various activities in business. Budget helps
to estimate inflows and outflows that needs to be made or received in future. When budget is
