INTRODUCTION
Business Project and Programme Management is defined as sum of various dimensions in
organisation which are performing various procedures in which high implications are drawn in
better outcomes within a specified time limit. In this process various functions are performed by
management such as planning, directing, organising, implementing and controlling of different
projects in order to achieve desired outcomes in significant manner. This is one of the essential
activity in which projects are completed along with attaining high efficacy (Demirkesen and
Ozorhon, 2017)). Besides this with the help of this dimensions standardised results can be
attained by which a plan is require to be acknowledged by the company along with particular
scope. In this report SB company is taken which is a global technological organisation and
headquartered in Washington, USA. They have recently undergone in the plan to perform
business transformation along with making robust strategy and this report is covering business
case within programme management for the company. With the help of this aspect in order to
attain most effective results scope and deliverables are inculcated. In the last part of this report
estimation, scheduling and governance for various stakeholder are associated in which impact on
business supply is being calculated.
OVERVIEW
SB is a technological based organisation in which software are developed for US and
providing low cost services which are highly reliable and long lasting for their customers. This is
being placed in Far East Europe in the Western Europe and with this the company is providing
support to their another centre which is located in Europe and this is emphasised on excellence in
engineering. SB is working in order to attain their foremost objectives of providing best and
diversified product product portfolio to their customer so that to get strong presence in the
marketplace and to make connections with their customers. For this the company is acquiring
WN which is going to be their in house manufacturing of software.
BUSINESS CASE / PROGRAMME MANAGEMENT
The company is planning for intensifying their transformational process in which they are
facing numerous challenges so as to compete with the same within certain program strategies are
adopted by them in which appropriate execution is to be enumerate so as to obtain beneficial
program outputs. So this can be said that there are various key aspect in which high

understanding can be enumerated. In order to attain high degree of accuracy this is required that
transformation process is planned in considerate manner. So there are a lot of challenges which
are faced by the company and the same are enlisted as below:
Soft Issues
Brand status: Transformation process is used by company in order to formulate relevant
strategies by which image of the organisation do not face any bad phase and this leads to positive
implications of enhancement of brand image as well. On the contrary as the headquarter of the
business is closing by which negative brand image is proposed in USA. This condition is not
favourable for the company and they have to bear losses due to this
Employment Jobs: By business acquisition job opportunities are lost by employees as
due to acquisition so many employees are barred to quit their jobs and this is providing negative
impact to the business and value in the market get diminished. The company is outsourcing some
of their operations from USA to Far East. This demotivate their employees and chances of losing
skilled people from their organisation increases.
Hard Issues
Political Factors: This factor is the reflection of government as government is making
rules and regulations and the same are required to be followed by businesses. The new business
by the company is opening in Europe so political factors are the aspect by which high
implications are drawn. After execution of Brexit companies are facing high pressure in which
this is difficult for them to expand their business and earn desired profit as well. In the process of
developing software high excellency is required and this is the major task for the company which
is providing negative implications as well (Emeasoba, 2018).
Location Issues: This issue is associated with reaching to be reliable place at which
manufacturing process can be intensified and this is leading to earn high profits and attracting
huge customer base as well. Thus selection of location is one of the prominent task while making
acquisition of WN and in order to achieve strategic objectives which is to earn desired profit
minimum cost is required to be attained by the company. This is a challenge for the company to
select better location for their business in Europe so that the can make appropriate structure of
their business as well.
