INTRODUCTION Psychological approach refers to that concept which helps in understanding the behaviour of the self and others at the workplace. This helps in adopting the effective behaviour that leads to develop the enormous skills in the individual. This report will illustrate the concept of Psychological approach and along with this, it also describes the reflection on the Personal development plan. The action plan plays the mandatory role in deciding the future goals and objectives. And along with this, it also ensures the achievement of the goals and objectives in effective manner. Apart from this, the report will highlight the three skills under the action plan. MAIN BODY PART 1 Determining the concept of Psychological approach in order to understand the self and others at the workplace Psychological approach is a process based on the assumptions and thought of an individual which reflects their behaviour in the surrounding. Theseperspectives describe the studyofindividualsbehavioursintheworkplaceorintheenvironment.Psychological perspectives is result of behaviour theory and communication by which it enables the person self development enhance their ability by encourage them and motivate them. The psychological perspective mainly include the three strategies which enables the adoption and change of interest, modelling communication, behaviour theory of a person by which I can analyse myself and others in a work place which will help me in order to connect with the people. For me the psychological perspective helps me in order to understand the human nature such as aggression and their attitudes in workplace and mine also by which communication gets easy. This also overcome the biases such as, in group or out group biasses at the workplace. (McKenna, 2020). There are five major approaches which are described below : Biological :This approaches includes all the activities performed in the areas of science including biology, neurology and genetics. It is a way of looking at human problems and actions. This study considers the behaviour like aggression which has been passed from the heredity. It includes the analysing trauma to the brain. Psychodynamic :This approach refers to that approach that focuses on the emotional and personal aspects of the individual. This approach is based on the past-experience of the
individual. It enables in understanding the values and emotions of the humans that has been derived from the past-experience. Behavioural :This approach is the complete study of the human behaviour and the aspects that are leading to individual in order to accept the different type of behaviour. For example: Some people have the calm behaviour at the workplace on the other hand, some have the aggressive behaviour. This approach focuses on studying the major aspects that are influencing individuals in order to adopt different behaviour. Cognitive :It includes the scientific study of the brain and mentalities. Under this, the different factors that are forcing the human mind in order to adopt the different set of behaviours has been studied. Humanistic:This approach focuses on those factors that generates internally in the humans and determines their behaviour. Such as: Pain and happiness. An effective understanding of this approach result in the effective understanding of the behaviour of the people. Appendix A: REFLECTIVE JOURNAL ENTRY PRO-FORMA What is the core skill to develop? The core skills plays the major role in learning and adopting the dynamic scenario in the career and especially at the workplace. The core skill that has been selected by me is the written and verbal communication skill. I will focus on my communication skill and provide my full focus in order to develop this core skill in effective manner. Why did I select this skill to reflect on? Why is this core skill important for your development (personal and professional)? Here, I would like to share my experience when I was at my academic sessions. I was not so much active and good at learning and writing from which I always had to confront and deal with the obstacles in the sessions. Along with this, I also had poor grades at my examination time. Once, my tutor gave me an opportunity from which I can enhance my written communication and obtain the good result at the graduation period. I was so blissful that my teacher gave an opportunity to improve. I put my efforts and hard work to furnish the assignment given by my tutor. I needed a help and support from my mates to improve my written skills, and I asked them to aid me they are ready to support me to enhance and develop my core skill. With the help of my mates I was able to complete my assignment on time and it also improves my written communication skills which will be very useful at my future life. Yes, I identified that I was not poor at my written communication skill from which I used to suffer from low grade marks. I chose the team work management skill which is quite necessary and important skill help me to aid my future existence. This management skill includes many responsibilities and ensures the effective performance in performing the group task. Why did I select this skill to reflect on? Working in a group can make the work activities easier and an individual do not have to face the work load at the both level.The team development stages of the Tuckman's suggest that, the team development has been parted in four stages and this ensures the achievement of the main goal at the workplace. This concept describes the effective working by all the team members. And when all the team members coordinate with each other it results in increasing the productivity in the working of organization. In terms of personal development the team working skill will provide me the platform through which I can learn many things from my teammates and in terms of professional development this skill will help me in making the coordination with my teammates. We all know that making and furnishing the work in a unity of people can makes the work easier. I wanted to share my workshop experience where I learned and improved my team work activities and its importance. I was very weak in communicating with people as it effects my team work activity. When I was at my workshop, I used to see people are working in a form of team and collaboration each other which makes their work furnished before the deadlines. I was unable to approach to my work mates as I was not confident and knows the value of working in a team. At once, my work mates give me an opportunity to collaborate with them, I felt good and comfortable to work with them as a team. When I used to work in a group it makes my work load and assignment to complete it before the time. I had also learned that now I am able to improve my performance at the best level and providing the quality work at the workshop. Can you identify any contradictions from your analysis above? As they said I started to evaluate myself and wanted to know what kind of skills I really needed to increase and improve.I realized that working in a group can increase my skills and can help me to balance the time. During the sessions, I communicate with my
mates to help me in improving my skills and ability from which I can obtain fine grades at examination times. My mates are so polite and ready to help me to increase my knowledge and abilities.My mates and tutor gives the reviews and feedbacks, so I can understand what skills I needed to improve more. The feedbacks of my teacher and school friends make a direction for me to know the weakness and also direct me to identify the solutions so that I will be able to capture the grades and result at best level. Regarding all these activities I went to talk with my tutor, and they really gives me an opportunity and a very kind response that builds a positive attitude in me. My tutor told me to create a schedule so that I was able to manage the time. After that, I understood the importance of time management activities which will really support me in my career plan at professional or personal level as well. At last, I was able to prove my teacher and all the classmates that I can get good result in graduation by obtaining A grade in semesters. How might this skill help me in the future? (use references to support your argument) All the skills and abilities which I had performed above helps me in my academic sessions and will also aid me in the future existence. I wanted to be a part of transnational company and where I needed to have time management core skills which are basically important at any level. At above, I talked about my college sessions and how this skill helps me to obtain good results. Being a professional an individual needs to balance the time for the work purpose and even for personal reasons.

The third skill is the time management skill. I want to improve my this skill in order to complete my task in the set time frame. I had a belief that there is no sense of completing the task if the task is not completed on the given time. Therefore, I am making a keen focus over this skill. I have analysed the importance of this skill. I have a strength and that is I am consists of positive attitude. If my task is not completed on time then I make strategies and use it for the next task. This will enable me to complete the task in effective manner along with the set time. In order to improve my this skill I will set the time frame of each task that will be done by me. Whether the task is for short period or long period.
CONCLUSION In this report it has been concluded that core skills plays a vital role in the different sectors either its personal or a professional life. The major three skills are described above are written, team work and time management skills. The brief is demonstrating the concept of core skills and how it can be developed in an individual. Apart from this, it also performed the different theories and concepts in the form of reflective mode so that it will be easy to understand and implement it in at personal or professional level. The report is ensuring that a person can increase and enhance their core skills which will be very helpful to them at both sectors private and professed level as well.
