1.0 Executive Summary
The current report is based on Business Requirements Document Central Arnhem Road
Upgrade. The report consist of background and rational of the project. The background of the
project and research rational has been done using the information available in the government
website of Australia (https://investment.infrastructure.gov.au/projects/ProjectDetails.aspx?
Project_id=097040-17NT-NP).
The next part of the report consists of stakeholder analysis and scope of the project. The
stakeholder analysis has been done by analysing the involvement of the stakeholder and their
role in the project. the stakeholder analysis has been done by analysis other construction
project in Australia and information available in the project website.
The final part of the report consists of the detailed recruitment analysis relevant to the current
project.

2.0 Introduction and project description
The current report is about discussion about the project management plan and business
requirements development of Central Arnhem Road Upgrade. The project is intended to
connect Katherine via the Stuart Highway to Nhulunbuy (Infrastructure.gov.au, 2019). The
construction project is about building 710 kilometre road.

Project/ Business Rationale
The project is a construction project in which 710 kilometre road construction project that
intended to connect Katherine via the Stuart highway. The construction of the road network is
the part of national infrastructure development which will provide large number of services
particularly to the indigenous communities and promote the tourism within the region
(Infrastructure and Regional Development, 2019).
This project involves reconstruction, widening, sealing and fold immunity improvement of
the region to make the route to a fit-for purpose. The main objective of the project is to
reduce the travel time along the corridor and enhance the flood immunity throughout the
corridor.
