This article discusses the learning experience and application of cloud computing in business research. It evaluates the effectiveness of the learning experience, explains how it will be useful, describes what happened in the learning process, evaluates what was learned, and explains how the learning will be applied.

1. Evaluate the effectiveness and your usefulness of the learning experience
Through the business research program, I have gained my understanding regarding the main goal
of research proposal that was advantages and disadvantageous of cloud computing. I have
attained this goal by developing depth understanding via literature review and research proposal.
My plan was to conduct the systematic research regarding research issue. In research proposal, I
have described my plan regarding approaches, strategies and methods that I will use to attain the
goal. This learning experience was valuable for me to use the cloud computing in the business. I
have increased my experience regarding introduction to cloud computing. In this way, it is
evaluated that cloud computing is used as a procedure to deliver the several IT associated
services that are performed over the internet (Hugos, and Hulitzky, 2011). Through assignment
1, I have generated my learning that in the cloud computing, there is no need to store the data in
the physical form of the system as data is stored as databases. This learning experience would be
beneficial for me to effectively implement the cloud computing in an organization.
I have also generated my knowledge regarding three component of cloud computing technology
such as SAAS (Software as a Service), PAAS (Platform as a Service), and IAAS (Infrastructure
as a service). This learning experience was valuable for me to significantly consider this element
in cloud computing.
During this course, I have enhanced my strength regarding different skills, which is required for
cloud computing. These skills are financial and business skills, Technical skill, Analytical skills
and Project management skills (Kushida, Murray, and Zysman, 2011).These skills would be
beneficial to implement cloud computing in business. During the course, I have identified my
different weaknesses such as lack of research skills, and leadership skills.I need to improve in
different areas such as needs to depth understanding regarding research methodology and

conceptual understanding regarding cloud computing. As a result, it would be beneficial to
improve my research as well as leadership skills.
2. Explain how this learning process will be useful to you
Business research course was beneficial for me to enhance my learning experience in different
ways. This course has developed my knowledge regarding the impact of cloud computing on
business. In this way, it is assessed that cloud computing provides the speed of communication at
the cheaper rate (Rittinghouse, and Ransome, 2016). I will apply this new knowledge and insight
into the future by focusing on execution of cloud computing. Through the assignment 1, I have
increased my understanding regarding the basic idea of cloud computing. In such way, it is
observed that the basic idea of cloud computing is to provide the access to remote facts and
figures (Taylor, Haggerty, Gresty, Hegarty, 2010). This new knowledge and insight will be
applied by me in the future in terms of generating the basic ideas regarding cloud computing.
I have also developed my comprehension regarding pros and cons of using cloud computing. In
this way, my opinion regarding this proposal is that cloud computing aids to decline investment,
secure access to data, flexibility and data recovery. This new knowledge and insight will be
applied by me in the future during the practices of cloud computing.
It is also evaluated that unauthorized user can breach the security and use the information against
their deeds (Ali, Khan, and Vasilakos, 2015). This new knowledge and insight will be applied by
me in the future in terms of securing the data within an organization. My opinion is that the
business research program has developed my knowledge regarding strategies to improve cloud
computing. In such manner, it is pointed that higher hierarchy of IT should be used in an
organization in order to secure the data (Rosenberg, and Mateos, 2011). This new knowledge and

insight will be applied by me in the future in order to avoid the negative impact of cloud
computing.
I have also developed my knowledge regarding the gap analysis. In this way, I have learned that
previous research considers the implication of technology as compared to its utility in the
business. I have generated my understanding that this research will support to the corporation to
make a judgment with regards to the execution of the technology in the business. It is also
observed that technology is implemented as per the findings of the study (Mavi, 2016). I have
increased my knowledge regarding limitation to implementing the cloud computing. As a result,
I am able to obtain the better result via using the cloud computing in the business.
Through the assignment 2, I have developed my knowledge regarding research question. In this
way, it is observed that different question is used in business research regarding the cloud
computing in order to build the depth understanding associated with research concern (Hashem,
et. al., 2015). Thus, this business research was useful for me to develop the research question in
further study and also aids to resolve the research concern in an effective and efficient manner.
3. Describe objectively what happened in the learning process
During the learning process, I did different activities such as identification of research issue,
development of research objectives, and creating literature review to resolve the research
concern. In the learning procedure, I read different journal articles, books,and online articles in
order to understand the research concern. I see and hear about advantages and disadvantages of
using cloud computing within an organization. I also see different research methodology that
would be applied by a researcher to complete the investigation in a systematic way. The
successful part of this research process was literature review where I have developed my depth

understanding while the unsuccessful part of this research process is gathering the data from
different sources.
4. Evaluate what you learn
The business research was useful for me in my research learning process as it has developed my
knowledge regarding pros and cons of using the cloud computing in business. Through the
assignment 1, I have developed my understanding that cloud computing is referred to as the
process to deliver several IT facilities that are generally retrieved from the internet. This learning
process was used to conduct further research regarding cloud computing technology (Srinivasan,
2014). This business program was effective for me to make judgment regarding cloud computing
technology.
I have developed my understanding regarding advantages and disadvantageous of cloud
computing in business through different journal article. In this way, it is observed that cloud
services is offered by third part suppliers which are known as cloud service providers (CSPs) and
they charge with their client as per the storage used by them (Gutierrez, , Boukrami, and
Lumsden, 2015).
I have also learned that cloud computing is beneficial for gathering data. In this way, it is also
evaluated that company can use cloud computing to evaluate and gather the data of its users and
it enables an organisation to make feasible judgement regarding its customers (Chang, Kuo, and
Ramachandran, 2016). This business program was beneficial for me to make decision regarding
gathering data.
This business program was also effective for me to understand cons of cloud computing. In this
way, it is pointed that cybercriminal may leak the sensitive information of company in public due
to which they can bear substantial losses (Gangwar, Date, and Ramaswamy, 2015).

Through the assignment 2, I have generated my learning regarding research design and
methodology. In this way, I have built my comprehension about approaches to research, choices
of research, data collection, research strategy, research sampling and validity and reliability.
During the business research course, I have increased my knowledge that there are two
approaches such as inductive and deductive approaches to conducting the research. In this way, it
is observed that deductive approaches are used to implement the existing theory whereas
inductive approach is used to create the theory regarding research issue (Swapna, and Gupta,
2015).
This business program was effective for me to generate my knowledge regarding research
strategy. In this way, I have developed my awareness that primary research will be selected for
research strategy. Along with this, it is evaluated that interview method will be practiced as
research strategy (Shahzad, 2014). As a result, I am able to conduct the interview in the future.
Through the assignment 2, I have gained my learning regarding research sampling. In this way,
my opinion is that non-probability sampling method will be used for choosing the sample. It is
evaluated that under the non-probability sampling method, respondents will be chosen as per the
certain criteria (Puthal, et. al., 2015).
I have also enhanced my comprehension regarding validity and reliability. In this way, I have
pointed out that researcher will eliminate the repetitive question for making data more valid. I
have also increased my knowledge that the detail information and aim of the investigation will
be identified before respondents participate in the interview procedure. As a result, I am able to
prepare the effective interview procedure and obtaining the reliable responses from participants.
5. Explain your learning process

Through the assignment 1 and 2, I have developed my new knowledge regarding advantages and
disadvantages of using cloud computing. It has improved my learning in technical sectors. In the
assignment 1, I did different activities such as identification of research concern, developing
research aim and objectives and review of the literature and addressing research gap. In the
assignment 2, I did several activities such as summaries the literature review, development of
research question, and formulating research methodology.
Through the assignment 2, I have also generated my understanding that qualitative research
enables to produce the reliable and valid results and also it is relevant with an inductive
approach. I have also learned that under the qualitative research, the information would be
gathered via available literature and interview.
Through the assignment 2, I have learned that use of secondary data will aid an investigator to
observe the development in the area of cloud computing technology over the years. This activity
was beneficial for me to gather the information in a significant manner. I have also generated my
knowledge that primary data would be gathered in this investigation in order to assess the topic
of study in the present circumstance. This learning process was beneficial for me to become a
technical manager in the future.
6. Explain Plan how this learning you will apply
Business research course was relevant for me to understand the information technology
information. I have also developed my knowledge regarding pros and cons of using cloud
computing in business. This learning will be applied by me in the future in terms of using cloud
computing in the business. This business research was also relevant for me to develop the
knowledge regarding the expected outcome. In this way, I have learned that this research will aid
me to make a significant decision about the execution of cloud computing by focusing on its pros

and cons. I have also built my knowledge that this research study will be practiced by me as an
investigator with the intention of educating and enhancing the business respectively. It will be
beneficial for my professional development. This learning will be applied by me to make a
further research regarding cloud computing in the business.
