Individual Reflection
Introduction
The reflective journal is aimed at providing a critical reflection of the personal learning
process experienced by me during this unit. For doing so, I will effectively combine many
facets of my acquired MBA skills while doing a high-quality business research project on
smart farming in Australia. Besides, based on (Australis College, 2018), I will reflect on my
team experiences that how my team members co-operated during the different phases of my
business research project. In this context, the many phases of the business research project
were topic approval, writing project report, conducting a literature review, as well as research
methodology sections. Therefore, in order to write this reflective journal an integration of the
whole journey throughout week 1 to 12 while summarising the whole learning will be
demonstrated.
Reflection
Topic Identification
In this context, my views suggest that the right topic identification is very important for
completing any research project effectively. I and my team got the approval of the topic of
the research within the given timelines which was 14th April 2019. I learned the significance
of the topic identification and approval with the tutors. Prior to getting approval, my whole
team discussed the topic selection. After discussion and sharing of opinions with each other,
we all team members agreed on selecting ‘agriculture in Australia’ as our research topic. In
this way, our topic was detailed researched and clearly identified with robust as well as
concise discussion (Bell et al., 2018).
The literature review
In this context, I really got life-long learning related to conducting research while conducting
a literature survey for our research project of smart farming in Australia. Besides, the
literature review provided a proper direction for our group research. My team successfully
accessed the details about the Internet of Things (IoT) for introducing smart farming
techniques in Australia. We also studied and conducted a survey of the literature on the topic
