Writing review is basically defined as a comprehensive summary of previous
investigation on a specific investigation area. In addition to this, written material is a organized,

their own information (Gutek, Hearn and et al., 2013). Research also needs to gather
information from the accessible sources that are real and authentic in nature as it is effective in
supporting the work towards drawing valid and reliable results. In addition to this, an
investigator needs to manage cost and capital for the purpose of restricting the delay of research,
as few activities are cost consuming in nature which needs to be effectively addressed by the

Chapter 6: Personal Reflective Statement
6.1 Reflect on the research method used
The examination concerning thought depends on analysing the influence of workplace
discrimination on the performance level of women staff within an organisation. In this way, the
extent of study is so wide as it is successful for me in investigating my insight and aptitudes
corresponding to the examination region or the systems that are huge for an examination. From
the point by point investigation of the venture, I have been seen that, right now inquire about has
been applied as it is critical in directing definite examination by means of the help of undeniable
realities and figures by considering human observation. Also, both primary and secondary
sources are applied in regard to helping the general work in right way to coming to at the key
result. As I have been seen that, primary examination is successful in get-together direct data by
means of creating questionnaire on the opposite side secondary examination is leading through
books, diaries, articles and so forth to literature review. Furthermore, I have also been recognise
that, in this present exploration deductive research approach is mainly applied to gather
information via developing theories and hypothesis.
6.2 The research Methods that could have been used
In the case of this present investigation work, questionnaire is being applied because the
overall investigation is based on quantitative analysis, therefore, primary research is being
conducted via multiple sources like interview, observation, focus group etc. and among all of
them interview is the best alternative for executing primary research. Thus, researcher could
have been used interview at the place of questionnaire, but it is less effective then questionnaire,
as in it takes a lot time to gather information because it in-consist over an personal interview
round. However, it is time and cost consuming in nature.
6.3 Area for further Research
The investigation into actual action is effective in exploring my knowledge regarding the
area of analysing the impact of workplace discrimination on the performance level of women
staff within an organisation, therefore, with the support of this evaluation my skills of using
research methodology has been enhanced as I got to know about gathering information from
both primary and secondary sources. In addition to this my skills of managing investigation
activities through time scale has also been developed, thus these all developed skills would be

effective for me in attempting my future projects in more effective manner. As for now I am able
