Thisbusiness research report will be cover on Waitrose private limited is the leading supermarketheadquartered in city of London and widest retail chain to serve customer with accurate productsor services. Further, research will cover discussion about aim & objectives on which entireresearch will cover. Also, Also, research will try to put emphasis on research methodology andanalysis of findings and outcomes. Lastly, research will put down consideration on reflection &recommendation to gain valid results. Research aim:“To examine the impact of globalization on training and development practice ofcompany”. A case study on Waitrose Limited.Research objectives:To analyse the concept of globalization and Human Resource Development. To analyse the importance of training and development in Waitrose. To determine the impact of globalization on Human resource development. Rationale of the study:In the global enterprise, where expansion or business up-gradation has increased withdemand of manpower of true in nature or scope. Also, scope for training and learning has alsoincreased with business needs and wants. With change in business technology and scenario, roleof training and development has increased to enrich performance of an employee to face negativeoutputs of the globalisation (Chams and García-Blandón, 2019). Rationale for this research isbased on given information. Also, major intention of this study is to generate new results oroutcomes out of the given study. Also, how given topic is being linked to specific sector namedas HR practice such as a training & development. Scope of this study is to build strategies andaction plan to achieves right results for context of HR practices. Lastly, scope for this study is tolong living to arrives at valid results for research study. Activities or timescales:Gantt chart:This chart under which series of the horizontal lines show amount of thework done in certain time period to amount planned for those time period. It is graphical tool thatshows tasks or activities performed against the time. The main reason behind use this toolthrough Nestle is that it helps in divide the task or activities on the basis of set time period.Timescale for this research study is 24 weeks or say 168 in days. Work breakdown structure:In project research study, work breakdown structure (WBS)is the kind of deliverable based breakdown of the project which is a part of tiny elements (Uraon,2018). Its type of the key project deliverable that is part of project team divided into manageablesections. The project manager appointed for Waitrose organisation uses WBS for intention ofchange project execution. Using this, project manager has divided whole project into themanageable sections, employees can work in an easy manner.

With working at global platform, there has been seen improvement ofinternational trade within countries and the continuation of a trade activities to gather composeoutcomes. Purpose of globalisation is to business existence and develops operations with higherusage of skilled human resources to link their ability to actual goals or objectives. Globalisationis being coming with ability of the operation to influence manpower such as fluctuation duringretention of the employee, decreased worth of the work force etc. Human resource development is one of the fundamental concept, deals with training &development of an employees. Also, it deals with recruitment & selection of the perfect peoplewho mainly lies with ethics & ability of the workforce (Tavanti and Davis, 2018). With scope forbusiness expansion, Waitrose is proposed to plan for training & development to their employeesalong with standards for development of strategy for recruitment & selection to enrich them withskills & knowledge to led them to perform business activities. Furthermore, globalisation will beprove productive to brings out opportunities for human resources to work and grow. b) Importance of training and development in the WaitroseAccording to the Smriti chand, (2017), training is the teaching and learning activitieswhich is carried for primary purpose of members of an organisation acquire and apply skills,ability and attitudes needed by particular job and organisation. As per Dale S. Beach, training isdefined as organised procedure by which people learn knowledge or defined skills for definitepurpose. In supermarket and retail chain, purpose of training & development is almost higher andexpected to have organised results or outcomes.
