TITLE: Effect of employee motivation on employee job satisfaction
Introduction
Employee motivation can be defined as an effective method that helps staff members to
drive towards success with the help of an intrinsic approach where they effectively put ample
number of efforts towards work related activities (Khuong and Linh, 2020).On the other side, job
satisfaction is said to be something which carries both direct and indirect impact over achieving
different range of goals and objectives that an organisation is looking forward to achieve. If it is
talked about Tesco PLC then it is considered to be one of the famous and largest retailer of
United Kingdom which is dealing at international market and offering customers with different
range of products and services based on their needs and requirements. Basically, this
organisation is also dealing withample number low job satisfaction issue which is faced by its
staff members and company is looking forward to motivate them so that job satisfaction may
improve. In order to do so, Tesco PLC would require to keep on making alterations in their
training sessions, bonus policy, conservation policies and so on in order to deliver the best
motivation to staff members so that satisfaction level of them can easily be improvised.
Background
Over the years, it has been analysed that staff members of every single organisation
specifically goes through a range of difficulties which decreases or reduces the job satisfaction
level. Managing work based life is considered to be a crucial problem which increases the risk of
reducing job satisfaction level at the workplace and the reason can be anything like less
compensation or bonus given by company then expectations of the employees and so on. It is
pretty much needed by the HR department of an organisation like Tesco PLC to keep their focus
on basic requirements of their staff members so that they can stay motivated while performing
different range of tasks. It is also needed for Tesco or any other National or International
organization to enhance the satisfaction level through developing different range of plans and
policies. Extra perks given to staff members can be considered as one of the beneficial and
effective way of enhancing the satisfaction level, which may also impact positively on their
performance level as they are getting fulfilled by the company in which they are performing
(Andani and Ardana, 2020).

Self interest of research investigator is considered to be theprimal reason behind conducting
this investigation on the chosen topic that is “To investigate about the effect of employee
motivation on job satisfaction level of TESCO’s workforce.” Another reason behind conducting
investigation on the chosen topic is that most of the researchers in the past has analysed the
perceptions of staff members but none of them has effectively analysed how motivation level
may impact over satisfaction level of job. In order to analyse the chosen subject, this
investigation has been performed to analyse the ways through which motivation level can be
improved of staff members which will be directly impacting positively over job satisfaction
level. on the other side, it is pretty much needed for an organisation Tesco PLC to keep on
bringing changes when in the existing policies of compensation and Perk related plans and
procedures because it is may be possible that it will help staff members of the company to
