INTRODUCTION
Research Background
Leadership is practical skill and the research area that encompassing ability of person,
group or company to influence or provide the right direction to other people. Leadership is an act
of directing a team or individual to achieve a certain goal through advice and motivation.
Strategic leadership is ability to influence the others to the voluntarily make the effective
decisions which increase prospects for long term success of company at the time of maintaining
the short term financial stability. Leaders empower individuals to take action that they need to
succeed (Asha'al, Obeidat and Alhmoud, 2019). The attributes this takes to be good need to be
learned and developed to be better leader. Managing the people and relationship is internal part
of the supply chain management.
Background of company
CHEP is an organisation that dealing in the container and pallet pooling services, serving the
consumers in range of the retail supply chain. It mainly provides the plastic and wooden pallets,
crates and small display pallets. These kinds of the products can be identified through blue
colour the the logo of CHEP. In this organisation, leaders motivate the employees so that they
can work effectively and focus on attaining the set objectives in right direction (Bergh and et. al.,
2016).
Research Aim
The aim of this research is “To identify the effectiveness of strategic business leadership for
meeting the demand when forecasted.” A study on CHEP.
JUSTIFICATION FOR THE RESEARCH
This research is mainly conducted for examining the leadership effectiveness of strategic
business leadership for meeting the demand when forecasted. Through this investigation, there
can be gain the better understanding regarding the particular subject area (Dyer and Dyer, 2017).
