STRATEGIC ANALYSIS2Explanation of the Terms Mission, Vision and ObjectivesThe term ‘mission’ sheds light on the reason of existence of something. As said by Ekpe,Eneh and Inyang (2015), organisational mission defines its purpose to exist in a particular marketand to whom it is dedicated. Based on organisational mission, the nature of a particular businessis determined. The term ‘vision’ refers to mental perception of someone or organisation with which in aparticular environment it is aspired to be something. In terms of fulfilling vision, it is necessaryto actualise the mental perception (Goetsch and Davis 2014). Hence business vision ororganisational vision defines what is its intention to be in the future. In which kind ofenvironment an organisation operates, is necessary to take into consideration in the contextbusiness vision. The term ‘objective’ is considered as a managerial commitment in terms of achieving aspecified result within a specific time limit. Objective is a changeable factor with theadvancement of time and situation.
