CRAAP is a test to supervise the validity and reliability of sources across the academic
disciplines. The significance of this test owes to the availability of a number of sources online
from where information can be relevantly and suitably acquired. This tends to raise a question in
relation to the trustworthiness of such sources to be used as effective tools for conducting a good
in-depth research. CRAAP stands for Currency, Relevance, Authority, Accuracy, and Purpose.
The selected article talks about the concept of citizenship and its meaning. In this relattion, it has
been noted from the article that British Prime Minister Theresa May had pointed out that if an
individual is a citizen of the world, then he is not the citizen of anywhere (DEAR ‘CITIZENS OF
NOWHERE’, YOU ARE NOT ALONE, 2018). The present article is written to put forward views
upon this statement given by British P.M. In this regard, the CRAAP test of the selected source
(article) is given as follows:-

Relevance: This article is relevant to the topic of global identity that is being studied in
the Contemporary Themes. This article relevantly portrays the quantum of personnel who
regards themselves more as a global citizen than as a citizen of own nation.
Authority: The author of this article is James Shackell who is a well known author known
to have written a number of blogs on various different agendas. Thus, it can be said that the
information written in the article is reliable.
Accuracy: The author has made a number of claims on the basis of information obtained
by him from a number of researches and surveys. The data written in this article is quantitative as
data has been collected from a number of respondents regarding what they feel about
Purpose: The purpose of this author is to stress upon the concept of global citizens so as
to voice out against the warning issued by British PM Theresa May. The tone of the article is
highly critical of the issue of global citizenship that is considered to be worthless by British PM

As per the survey conducted on millennials by PWC recently, it has been noted that 88
out of every 100 individuals intend to work for an organisation who possess values correlated to
their individual values. Further, an overall quantum equivalent to 86% are of the belief that they
can consider the option of leaving a workplace where the entity's CSR initiatives are no longer
able to fulfil their expectations. The results of this research reflects that a large quantum of
millennials are looking out for private fulfilment of their career and tremendously redesigning
the work station as per their own accord. This implies that employers can not ignore issues or
concerns such as gender diversity, sustainability and equality now and are largely required to
deal with them in order to retain the employees for a long time. Besides this, it has widely been
noticed that the workforce operating within a purpose-driven organisation are two-three times
more productive than the average manpower. It is seen that employees work by utilising their full
potential when they know that their efforts are contribution towards the long term goals of
company. Owing to the increasing awareness among millennials in today's modern society, it is
not sufficient for companies to just appear as being socially ethical when in reality, they are not.
It is essential for businesses to now realise the importance of strong team ethos in order to gain
the attention of the millennials. It is significant that the organisation drives the workforce
towards the achievement of company's vision as this is the key to derive satisfaction from
shareholders. This motivation can be given by making the employees realise that they operating
for a good cause and significantly contributing towards the welfare of society.

As per the survey conducted by over 350 Artificial Intelligence researchers, there is 50%
probability that by the end of the upcoming 45 years, machines will have the potential to perform
better than humans in all aspects of life and business. As per the views of respondents, all of the
human jobs will be automated by the end of next 120 years (AI and the Future of Work Video
Now Available, 2019). In the future course of time, machines will have the potential to write
essays, translate language, drive vehicles, write books, work within retail market etc. Artificial
Intelligence will be able to replace humans in every field. This process will prove to be
meritorious for those organisations which have complex methods and procedures such as
scientific as well as technical work, accommodation, data transfer etc. etc. Further, AI will not be
effective in areas such as construction, transportation, manufacturing, finance and insurance as to

some extent, these fields of work require manual intervention. Further, as per the analysis done
by PWC, AI will lead to generation of as many jobs as it will significantly destroy.
