INTRODUCTION Speaking about business environment, it is a broader concept that specificallyencompasses different factors may be internal or external to the business, influences theworking of the organization to a great extent. The intensity of the impact of these factorsvaries with the type of firms (Werbach and Hunter, 2012). Pertaining to this, it is quiteessential to evaluate the business environment with a view to have smooth flow of operations.The current research study is also related with the impact of Brexit on the business ofSainsbury. As a Brexit Business Environment Manager of Sainsbury, the main aim is toanalyse varied size, structure, purpose and scope of different business organizations withwhom the firm will have close partnership within its supply chain. Further, it will focus onorganizational structure and inter-relationship of varied functions of Sainsbury. Positive andnegative impact of Brexit on the company’s business will be evaluated using PESTEL tooland finally, internal strength and weakness of the firm using SWOT tool will be performedeffectively. TASK – 1P1 Explaining the types and purpose of different organisations Business is being defined as a convertible process of skills as well as materials as perthe demand of the clients or offers services according to the demand of the clients. It alsoincludes varied factors like government activity, customers, suppliers, distributors, industrytrends, economy, population etc. Global firms such as Sainsbury seeks competitive advantagethrough these factors including price, marketing strategy and quality. Because of the Brexit,the business perspective of the firm has been affected a lot (Pandey, 2013). There has beenmajor issues related to supply because of higher food process resulting from increased importduties and tariffs. Below are different types of organizations with whom Sainsbury will seekto develop close partnership within their supply chains and these are as follows: Sole Proprietorship – It is defined as the business being operated by a singleindividual. He or she is sole profit taker of the business. Further, in this type of firm,the liability of the owner is very high. They generally involve into a profit makingbusiness. The legal structure in such type of firms is quite simple. Partnership – Focusing towards partnership, it is a business entity that comes intoexistence with the integrated efforts of several individuals who engage themselvesinto the operations of the business by considering the partnership deed.
