all types of value that identify well-being and health of company in long period. Business values
embraces intangible things not inevitably attributable to the group of stakeholders. A
commitment of sustainability, innovation, building strong communities and excellence. Along
with this business ethics is study of suitable practices and policies of company regarding
potentially controversial topics including insider trading, corporate governance and

CASE SCENARIO- 1
The current scenario is based on ethical behaviour of person within particular situation,
the overall case explain Ethics that will helps individual to determine right from wrong. The
chosen scenario define the big corporate deal in which so many firms take participation.

From last 2 years my firm is passing through crisis, I decided to wind up company. But I
heard about bid corporation deal, I had taken decision to participate in this event in order to save
my business, there are so many firms have participated for bid. Committee declare outcomes of
bid after lunch break. During that time I found closed envelop of my competitor's bid, in this
situation I will be ethical, I would not see the bids of competitors because this is against business
ethics and norms. Values and ethics are most important because they influence decisions and
morals in context of business and need to be present in way to promote sustainability (Wood and
et.al., 2015). When I open envelop, my competitors will take a legal action against me that
directly impact on my business reputation and position within market place.
According to data protection legislation, different regulators issued guidelines as well as
code of practice that affect how data protection is addressed in industries. Without taking
permission and access I would not be able to open any personal envelop of other person, good
ethical decision affect my firm in different of ways, for example, legal issues. At this movement,
I am accountable to give this envelops to my competitor that develop good image in mind of
other people around bid. Lawfulness, transparency and fairness are the principles of Data
protection law that affects positively. I had to follow the principles in context of this situation,
that protect my business against illegal allegations. Ethical behaviour is good for company, as it
helps to overcome issues, improve brand recognition and awareness rather than before. It helps
to found out new source of finance, that will be beneficial for my organization. At this situation,
I would take action by considering law, I would take envelop and give it back of committee
members. It enhances my business reputation and gain attention of investors who are able to
support financially. In Hong Kong, data protection law is followed by each and every business
sector, which is quite beneficial for long term growth and success. It provides that information
users must use all practicable phase to assure that personal info held are protected against
accidental and unauthorized processing, use or loss.
