INTRODUCTION
Business ethics is a more assistance or guidelines in order to identify the conduct of
business in order to know what is right, what is wrong, what is fair. The business ethics fir or set
the standards in order to know or analyse that what is right or what is wrong. The business ethics
manage or deals with internal values which are the portion or part of the incarnate culture which
concern about the social responsibility with regard to the external surroundings. The social
responsibility is the theory of ethics in that the person are much responsible for completing or
fulfilling their obligations and duty in order to caters the advantages to the entire society. This
report is going to explain the objectives, mission, vision of the TESCO (Cahyono cand Hakim,
2020). TESCO is a multinational British retail company which was founded in 1919, by Jack
Cohen. This report is going to analyse and explain the importance of the business ethics and
the kinds of decision making. Also, in this report, they going to implement ISO-26000 CSR
standards and the ethical issues which are faced by the company. Also explain about the ethical
issues of financial reporting in the company
MAIN BODY
1). Background of the organization, mission, vision, corporate objectives.
TESCO is a multinational British company which was founded in 1919, by Jack Cohen, as
a team of market stalls in London, Hackney. The headquartered of TESCO is in Welwyn Garden
city, England. TESCO is a third largest retail company in the globe which are evaluate by the
gross revenues. They have several outlets and shops across the globe. TESCO is a market leader
of groceries in the United Kingdom. The name of TESCO was appeared in first time in 1924.
TESCO has varied into several areas like retailing of furniture, books, clothing, toys, petrol,
software and several telecom and internet services. TESCO is the company which was listed on
the London Stock Exchange. They had market capitalisation of something around £18.1 billion
as 22 April 2015. The organisation started to expand their goods or services during the 1960 in
order to involve households products and in 1974, they opened their first petrol station.
Mission: The TESCO mission is “ To identify what matters better, means they want to produce
best and amended goods and products that matters for the individual and fulfil their needs and
requirements.
