INTRODUCTION
Academic misconduct is defined as any unfair or unethical actions taken by students
which creates inequality in them. The actions includes such as plagiarism, cheating,
altering of academic documents or have an access of materials before they are
available to public.
Design a game
In universities many of misconducts take place because students lack knowledge or do
not pay attention in class while learning. Sometimes, students make poor choices and
end up in doing cheating.
Game description
For making students aware about academic integrity in universities a
game has been designed called “Buzzer war”. In this game educators have to divide
the class in teams of 5 people and questions will displayed on screen. Each team will
be provided with ten points in the beginning of the game.
Design of game
The design of the game is very attractive and creative for students as
there will be visual presentation of questions along with some pictures. This game is
very easy to understand from the perspective of students and knowledgeable. The
game is named as buzzer war because students have to press the buzzer first in order to
win the game.
Instruction to play game:
Their are certain rules which every student have to follow which are
instructed below:
Educator will divide the students in team of five individuals and they
have to accept that without any questioning.
This game is a team based and each team will be assigned a number
according to which they have to seat in their booth.
The questions will be asked by their teachers and students have to press
the buzzer only after the educator finish reading the question on screen.
Each team will be get 15 seconds to understand the asked question after
which they can press the buzzer.
If a team press the buzzer they will be given a time limit of 30 seconds to
answer.
Importance of academic integrity
Academic integrity is very important for universities to implement as it
helps in making its student honest and responsible. High standards of
academic integrity assist in securing reputation of students and enhance their
contribution in society. Having an academic integrity within themselves will
maker them trustworthy in the eye of people who will deal with them in
future in personal and professional lives.

It is observed from the above analysis that academic
integrity is very important for all students in universities
for their personal and professional growth. The
universities must encourage their students to enhance
their knowledge rather than choosing the path of
academic misconduct. It is will them in becoming a
better person and trustworthy in front of people. The
above mentioned game will help them in improving their
abilities and motivate them to study more.
