INTRODUCTION
Callous unemotional trait is refereed to a behaviour disorder among children with
conduct issues. With this type of disorder in the subpopulation children usually demonstrate the
disruptive and violent behaviour in which they neglect the rights and concerns of others. The
report will discuss the implications for identification and treatment of such disorders among
children.
ESSAY
Advantages of identification of sub population
It is very essential that such population must be identified at the early age prior to the
progression of the disorder. The subpopulation suffers from the conduct issue which makes their
behaviour more aggressive. They lack empathy and show disrespect and concern for others.
However with the growth and age progression the increasing social or psychological stress can
worsen their symptoms. On the other hand if such population are identified the from early age
only parents and carers can provide them a residential environment full of love and care. Proper
care and attention at home provides emotional support to sub population. Parents play an
important role in upbringing of children (Muratori and et.al., 2017). It has been also observed
that lack of attention and care from parents, domestic violence at home and negligence of
personal needs by parents is one of the reason for development of such conduct issues and
Callous unemotional traits. Thus identification of these behavioural disorder can be
accomplished by parents only. With identification development of caring atmosphere at home
play critical and essential role in the improvement of child behaviour.
Implications for treatment and diagnosis
The treatment and diagnosis of such behavioural disorder is vital for the safety of child as
well as others. The presence of unemotional traits makes individual highly insensitive and thus
they may demonstrate event violence and aggression. This type of aggression can cause self
destruction physically as well as mentally. It can also become life threatening for other
individuals. With the age these symptoms may become more severe and can even cause serious
health implications for the children. Thus it is highly recommended that parents must monitor the
behaviour of their child. They must provide proper attention and care to their children so that
such behavioural disorders can be resolved (Muratori and et.al., 2016). In critical situations it
may not be possible for the parents and family members to treat the child. Thus for managing the
