Source of funding
NGOs use various source of finance project operations and payment for their
administration services and it realy on different ways of finance. Along with this, include
methods like membership dues, goods and services sales, profited firms, charitable foundation
and private contribution. Cancer Reserach UKfoundation make use of donation in which any

and et.al ., 2020). Along with this, it also make use of fundraising campaign and it can be
through a booth like social media campaigns and partnership that helps in collecting finance.
The impact of Ngo is positive in society as it play important role in building rural area as
well as securing communities by providing their assistance and services that leads in
developing economic stability and mobility. Moreover, it act much faster than government and
work closely with people and find quick solution for issues. In addition to this, Ngo do not wait
for majority to vote and they provide help of needy people and whole public. It promote
individual led activities and that impact upon whole public as well as provide relief for problem,
education, health emergency.
Cancer research is focusing of the water project with the aim of providing sanitized water
to people. It has been providing with sustainable access to wash as it is the key public issues
and it is one of the greates charities in Islam (Yigitcanlar and et.al ., 2018). The company has
been giving solar pump , water roller drum and implementing hand pumps and tube wells.
Poverty has been raised in year 2020 due to pandemic and climate change. Cancer research is
giving livelihood opportunity to people so that it can earn for their living. Their livelihood
projects are based on individual needs and it benefits the center of work as well as it range from
vocational training related to handicraft, construction of water wells and distribution of
wheelchairs and rickshaws. Thus company believe that providing handicraft training and
opportunity will empower and sustain livelihoods for generations.
Another factor that NGO’s have impact on is educations as there has been increase in
children dropping out from the school. And Cancer research has been sharing the government
burden through promoting education in the country (Suy, Choun and Chhay, 2018). It has
contributed by developing educational institution in remoter areas and across nation and it has

Key challenges and opportunities
The Strength of Cancer research is that it has good brand image and due to that it is able to
attract large customer and able to expand their company in other country (Blanco-Gutiérrez and
et.al ., 2020). It is big Ngo so it is able to collaborate with small organization which helps them
in working for the citizens more effectively as the chain o working is expanded. The another
Ngo not only work in one sector which is one of the major strength of the company. It has many
projects that are related to livelihood, education, health and hygiene because of that it is able to
provide services in wide area and it helps in attracting more people. It is one of the largest
donor and due to that most of the small social organization wants to connect with them and it
result in increasing their market share.
Moreover, the weakness of the organization is that it more focused on cancer community
and giving them more advantage and due to that there scope has been limited. It need to build
the community awareness and for that it have to focus on other people. Moreover, it should lay
emphasize on community as whole that are facing issues not on specific religion that will help
in increasing their brand awareness in local as well as international market area (Yazdanifard
and Fong, 2019). The another weakness that company is facing is lack of trust in boards and
due to that there has been issues that delay in project so for that company should focus on
building good environment in workplace area so that everyone work together in order to
achieve organizational goals.
One of the major opportunity that cancer research has is that it can connect with major
business organization as it will help them in generating finance (Christodoulou and Cullinane,
2019). Most of the companies now days wants to connect with NGO’s so that it increase their
CSR activities as it help in building their brand awareness. So it can be great opportunity for Al
–Khair to build relation with them. It can set a contract between such organization that it will
promote their brand and for that it has to pay member ship fees. This will be great sources of
finance and with help of that it can initiate more activities that will be beneficial for the
society. Another opportunity is that it can get involved with government and participate in their
scheme as it will help in getting support of public and will be able to increase their brand
awareness.
Moreover, with opportunity there are threat present in external environment such as high
competition as there are other Ngo’s that provide similar activities. So in order to run the

company it need to come up with innovative ideas that make their Ngo different from others.
Along with this, for dealing with this threat Cancer research is focusing on Muslim community
but it is limiting their scope of work so for that it need to widen their area of activities (Achinas
and et.al ., 2019). However, in external environment there has been major concerns going like
mental health issues and Cancer research can focus on that. Moreover, there has been lack of
financial sources as most of the companies and individual spend limited amount in donation or
crowd funding. So for dealing with this organization can take help of financial initiatives launch
by banks like loan and grants as it is easy and quick way to generate finance for the activities.
Moreover, it has been found that NGO’s are affected by political change as while gathering the
fund though public most of the donation comes from political parties and change in their
landscape will shutdown such funding. Another way political change influence Ngo is through
taxation as changes in tax structure may affect the company as they are exempt from strict tax
laws. Moreover, economic factors may affect business as thriving economic condition of these
company is affecting their growth negatively. Such as during the times of down of economy
there has been risk related to livelihood and low earning. Thus, NGO suffer in this cause
people are more concern about fulfilling their basic needs instead of donation (Thomas and et.al
., 2021).
Moreover, NGOs are related with social welfare and it tries to develop society and for
that it gives direct employment , training and education with aim to change society for the
better. Cancer research is making use of digital marketing in order build the awareness of work
and their ideas and it allow them to reach large number of people through this channels. Thus,
it contributes in improving operational efficiency and finance of company. In addition to this,
Cancer research follow legal rules and regulation in order to avoid interventation of government
as well as it safe the data of employees and customer through data protection act and maintain
their privacy. In case of environmental fact Ngo’s play major role and it is common trend that
political leadership are more interested in taking step for developing society. Thus, Ngo’s are
taking additional step for promoting environmental practice and raise awareness about these
issues.
Recommendation
It is to be recommended to above mentioned company that it should review their current
practices and make improvements. It can take feedback from outsider and employees

if there any changes needed in functional. Thus, it will help in improving practice and
help NGO to expand and work efficiently.
Moreover, it must be requested to add budget and it must cover office space, staff
training and fund raising staff as it will help in maintain high capacity .
CONCLUSION
From the above report it has been concluded that NGO also face issues related to finance and
political changes and the way it impact there operational activity. Along with this, it has also
summarized about Al- Khair company its aims and mission as well as management structure
followed by the company in order to sustain.
