Introduction
The object of education is referred as, to enlighten a person in various knowledgeable aspects
that may help the same to lead his life in a more efficient way and make the person ready to face
and deal with the problems of life effectively. This basically is the sole motto of the primary and
to some extent the higher education system, but in the case of professional education, the view of
such evolves a little. It now aims to train and enlighten a person about the key conceptual aspects
prevailing in the genre of the profession chosen. These key conceptual subjects are popularly
known as capstone subjects. Herein, this study aims to lay down an in detailed discussion about
my personal gain owing to the precise learning from the capstone subjects while pursuing a
Masters of Business Administration (MBA).
Summary of reflective capability and learning, that includes the knowing, being and
competencies and four essential capstone skills (week 1)
In the present, the various business schools hold it necessary to include the implications of
capstone strategic learning that focuses on offering the learners a practical perception that is
relevant to businesses. This is usually a part of a Masters' program, that is, capstone strategic
learning is considered as an integral part of a program wherein the students desire to involve in
acquiring a Masters' degree in any given field. The inclusion of the said strategy of learning
helped me to develop the requisite skills that are necessary, in order to be the most competent
person to manage business administration. The MBA capstone strives to inject four concepts and
allows and compelled me to develop the missing skills, that actually allowed me to uplift my
credibility of dealing with any emerging problems in a business. The concerned implied learning
introduces a concept of knowing, doing and being that enabled me to evaluate my conceptual
knowledge, apply my ideal gains from the same in the relevant practical situations and thereby,
draw and solicit the self-reflection and personal values. This learning enabled me to learn,
develop and master four key capstone skills and the same are:
Theoretical skills (Knowing)
This focuses on the development of skills by gaining knowledge from the different theoretical
drivers such as theoretical models and strategies. In my thinking, the concerned have allowed me

to understand the prima facie unrelated contents depicts an actual direct impact. This actually
refers to my skills that have developed or that I have learned from bookish and theoretical
knowledge.
Applied skills
Applied skills refer to the ability to foresee the consequences of a business actions and
understand the impacts that each of the interconnected operations of a business has on the other.
According to me, it is basically the skill that enables a student to evaluate and assess the various
impacts, scope, outcomes of business processes (Buenviaje et al., 2016). This ensures the
enhancement of my analytical skill offering me the opportunity to understand and acknowledge
the different influences that each of the theoretical aspects of a business have on the overall
performance of a firm.
Practical skills
Owing to the development of practical skills, I can relate the diverse peak ambits of the
theoretical skills and applied skills and extract the probable significant steps that may allow me
to comprehend and mitigate emerging issues in an organization. As per the views of Rubens et
al., (2018), practical skills are recognized as the experimental skills that aims to introduce the
implications of responses with a specific business dilemma.
Reflective skills
As per my knowledge, reflective skills are the skills which ensures that any new situation or
recognized information is evaluated keeping parity with the knowledge that is learnt before, that
is, in the past. Herein, 'reflective' addresses assessment of any new information in lieu of the past
knowledge and experiences.
A personal reflection on learnings from the capstone subject and consultancy research
Process
From the learning of the capstones subjects it has helped me to gain a strategic mindset proper
communication skills and analytical skills along with problem solving skills with the help of

many real life scenarios. The subjects have helped me gather proper knowledge and linear
thinking with the help of values like simple cause and effect. As per the strategic thinking
approach as per the myriad complexities that can help in making difficult and practical cases in
specific. The learning has vehicle helped me in expecting changes that can happen in order and
random ways. As per the strategic thinking it can help me to understand that changes happen in
an unpredictable manner and chaotically that might help me to deal with various cases. The
learning can help ash helped me to develop logical approach of thinking that might be effective
in developing my personal skills. The learning companies can also be helpful for me by adapting
to the new variety of theoretical lenses and determining the skills that are needed to be used in a
proper manner. This can be useful for me for gaining an overarching role that can help enhance
the performance and gain advantage over others.
The learning of the capstone subjects has helped me to enhance the self-confidence. The feeling
of accomplishment can the requirement of education has helped me to gain proper set of skills
from the course work and subjects. There are various ways that can be helpful in establishing
credibility in prosocial development. The knowledge and hard and soft skills that can be
produced out of the learning and can be helpful for me in gaining abilities like leadership critical
analyst and proper communication. Thinking And problem solving and other requirements are
the most important aspects of the learning that can be derived from the subjects. The thinking of
analysing the various aspects of situation and determining the method by which they can affect
my decision making and to gain proper advantage of the situation has been learning from the
capstone subjects. I have also gained a sense of curiosity from the learning process as I have
developed a mind where it helps me to dig deeper in order to explore the various acts of a
situation. Other than these self-disciplined proper time management are the two skills that has
helped me to develop in a proper manner (Sangwan and Garg, 2017). The learning along with
rigorous study sessions and complete assignments on time of project submission he helped me in
pushing myself to the extent. The learnings of the capstone subjects have helped me in
determining the various aspects and number along with the entire experiences that can help me in
sharpening the creative thinking and inspiring me in the context of creative endeavours.

A personal reflection on skills developed over the MBA
MBA allowed me to seek for my best version, enabling me to effectively manage business
administration. I developed a diverse number of managerial skills that are held as significant and
extremely necessary while aiming to efficiently manage business operations. The MBA capstone
program further provided me with the opportunity to develop and enhance the intangible and
highly valued skills. For example, holistic thinking and time management skills of expert genre
will allow me to be the business administrator within a business. In my perception, the implied
scope and aim of the MBA educational curriculum is to develop and enhance the prevailing skill
within an individual so as to make him ideally fit to overlook and handle the administration of a
business with vivid efficacy. However, I observed while pursuing MBA, that though the said
curriculum targeted to enlighten the students about quite a number of subjects, only a few aspects
of the same are dealt with improved attention. The key aspects and skills that I learned and still
learning, that is, evolving and updating value and definition of the same and eradicating the
emerging issues of the respective are discussed below:
Communication Skill
Communication skills can be considered as the most essential roles that can be enhanced with the
helpful MBA. As the course helps providing diverse ranges of tasks and their practical
applications communication skills can be improved by providing knowledge and confidence to
the students (Aithal, 2015). As per my observation communication skills is the prominent skills
that can help me in both personal and professional developed. This can help me to gain overall
development.
Problem solving skills
These types of skills cannot be gained by teaching or learning, this requires one to gain
knowledge and experiences with the help of various scenario and practical application of the
situation that can be provided by an MBA. As per my views, in the modern world these skills
have gained much importance that has been reconditioned in the professional world. I have
gained strategic thinking and is able to identify the issues that can help me in various ways.
Networking skills
While studying MBA it can help the student to interact and enhance their network by adding
peers as much posse (Gowsalya and Kumar, 2015). This can help them provide a number of
opportunities for attending events and forming groups to study. The collection of these

experiences can help to procure knowledge and developing a set of interpersonal skills and
networking know how.
Handling pressure
There are several circumstances of high pressure in almost all the roles in the job. The business
environment can be helpful in determining the pressure and the level of responsibility. With the
help of MBA degree student can be able to fine tune the ability in order to manage the high-
pressure scenarios by working towards the deadlines in order to be calm and collected along with
focused on exams. It can be enabling me to transform these skills with the help of their
professional lives and it can make them more confident and provide them with the ability to deal
with every situation that may come under their way (Costigan and Brink, 2015).
Skill to perform strategic analysis and research
The capacity of consulting proper research and effective analysis of the data can be helpful in
gaining proper knowledge and skills. The student can be proficient in providing proper feedback
and gaining in depth analysis of the various business disciplines. These skills can allow me for
providing many values in the place of work. The MBA can help in providing confidence and
suggestions in various ways which can help to approach various facets in the context of business.
Leadership skills
It can help me in undertaking the subjects that can help in leadership and strategic management
by equipping them with proper knowledge of the ways which can help in becoming a leader of
high quality (Winer, 2015). It can be vital to remember that the leaders can have the ability
which can help in motivating and inspiring others. This cannot be exclusive for the position of
the management and help anyone to lead at any stage for my career.
A personal reflection on how these will assist in future career endeavours
As per my observation, it can be said that with the advancement of technology and the changing
of the professional world in dynamic nature it can be logical that the above-mentioned skill set
can be developed to fulfil all the requirements that can be needed in the job for the future. As the
world has been growing with the help of digital technology there is a list of hard and soft skills
that can be listed to be predominant for an individual. I have listed that problem solving,
communication, empathy and collaboration can be the most important skills that can help me in

future career endeavours. Solving of problem can be the most prominent skills that can help me
in advancement in my career as the challenges that I may face can help me to identify the
problems along with gaining mental flexibility in order to think outside the box and help me to
see the bigger picture in an effective manner. Although with the advancement of technology can
help me in automated technology can be the part of my work that help me in making proper
executives’ decision (Prince et al., 2015). It can also help me to analyse complexities the various
analytical skills ad serving conscious out of loci and reason. Critical thinking can be also major
skills for my future workplace endeavours that be required for tackling major issues. In order to
manage and motivate with people it can help me to delegate and be sure of the proper
development of the business. This can be a challenging skill that many people may lack. As per
my objective setting the best in people can a prominent skill that can be developed out above
mentioned skills.
The communication skills can help me in sharing my ideas and concepts with other mates that
can be helpful in developing a proper bond in the place of work. Communication can also help
me in procuring proper knowledge of the changes that might be necessary in any situation that
can help to serve the people in a proper manner. Communication as networking can be related to
each other as both proper communications can help me in developing a network that can be
fruitful in the coming future. Networking can further help me to develop my capability of
problem solving as with a range of people can help me in tackling situations in an effective
manner (Gauvreau et al., 2016). Other than that problem solving can be helpful in tackling the
situation of pressure and providing proper growth in my professional world. Leadership and
analytical skills can help me in dealing with the pressure of situations in highly competitive
world. In the fate changing world the in the states and their demands are constant changing.
Nowadays people with all round skills are the one who are most in demand and also can develop
in their career. Companies now want people who can perform many roles sand multitask along
with proper time management (Ohland et al., 2015). The above-mentioned skills that can be
learnt for my MBA and from the various capstone subjects are the one which can help me in
gaining proper knowledge and career assessment for my growth.

Conclusions
In conclusion it can be said the proper leaning from the capstone subjects can help me to grow in
my career along with proper development of knowledge. The skills that has been mentioned in
studies can be used for all round development of a person and other than that it can be used for
problem solving and critical thinking for an individual. The demand for the job roles has been
changing with the advancement of technology therefore it can be necessary for a person in order
to gain growth be adaptive to change and deal with new situations that may arise in the coming
future.
