SUMMARY OF THE CAPSTONE PROJECT
The main aim of the capstone project is to analyse the corporation use of the solar energy to
tackle the issues of global sustainability. The need for sustainability all over the world is
increasing day by day. There is an urgent need to respond to the challenges of sustainability. The
project will help in sustainable development which basically includes solving the problems of
sustainable energy sources. Solar energy has the giant potential in various countries due to its
position in tropical belt (Hernandez and 2019). It has its applications in various areas such as
architecture, transportation, restaurants, mobile charging, car parking, lighting etc. These help in
promoting solar energy as well as impact the environment positively. The capstone project will
shed light on the various books and journals and also make use of primary research such as
questionnaire in order to gain deeper insight about the use of solar energy in improving the
sustainability and tackling its issues (Moore‐O'Leary and et.al., 2017). There is a need to increase
the awareness to save energy and promote the same among the citizens of the countries by
making use of solar energy and installing the solar systems. This capstone project will also
enhance the skills of the engineering students as they will come to know about the ways in which
they can use the solar energy and can increase the sustainability.
