INTRODUCTION
Car free city is one of population centre which is depended on walking, public transport and
recycling for transport in different urban areas. It is a city where different motorised vehicles are
totally banned which is consider as car free zones (Bhagra and Sharma, 2018). Care free city is a
model that has gain traction due to various reason like current issues with infrastructure,
congestion, quality of life benefit, proposed environmental benefits. It is providing their service
in different places like Asia, Africa, Europe and other many cities continued to build different
car free areas for various reason liker inception before origin of auto mobile. There are different
cities in Asia which are using proposed model for modernise their infrastructure. It offer mobility
to people which saves their cost of fuel and also attract tourism in country. It reduce pollution
level in city which is good for health of people. City which is car free provide different benefits
to people living in that area as it improve both mental as well as physical health of people with
controlling level of pollution in that areas (Wette, 2019). Different stakeholders are to be
involved in car free city like corporate bodies, government, environmental bodies, people. These
stakeholders are contributing in car free city centre in different ways as UK government made
different regulation related to air quality as well as other polity which helps them to reduce level
of pollution in city and motivate people to follow these rules and regulation. People living in that
city are another stakeholder for car free city centre as these people are the one who are avoid use
of motor vehicle in their city instead using electric car. There are different cities which are
adopting car free city centre like Melbourne city centre, Rundle mall Adelaide, Ghent and many
more. This project report includes analysation of impact of social and health care of car free city.
It describe different issues which are related to economic impact of car free city. Moreover it
discuss recommendation for maximising benefits of car free city centre.
TASK
Health Impact:
Car free city centre create good opportunity for health of people living in a particular city. There
are various changes occur in exercise and health of people living in that city (Fair and Kondo,
2020). Car free city centre is helping in reducing of noise honking as well as pollution level in
city. It helps in improving health of different people living in that city like children, young and
old age people. It provide fresh air to people which is good for them and provide benefits to
