INTRODUCTION
Carbon economy is one of the most common term in today;s world, this simply means
carbon in the environment that impact economy and industrial development. Every country have
aim to reduce carbon foot print in the world, certain policy and regulation is been crafted to
manage carbon economy in the country (Bonsu, 2020). This report will discuss record of
activities that will be conducted with steps of project management to control carbon release in
the environment. Later this report will discuss outcome of the project and rationale for
conducting this project in the process. Later this report will discuss literature search that provide
useful information about the topic chosen, viewpoint of different author will be considered. At
last this report will discuss project design and conversation with supervisor.

Record of activities carried out:
Initiation: Initiation is first stage where identification of importance of conducting this research
is consider, carbon free economy is important topic where every country should focus to reduce
carbon emission and focus on making economy as carbon free. There are certain stage in
initiation phase, these are: Significance of project: Understanding importance of this topic is important, carbon is
one of the biggest issue that impact every living thing in the world. This topic is mainly
designed to focus on reducing carbon release in the economy.
 Key player: Understanding key players that are involved in the process, executor have to
examine key player which may include stakeholder, government, private agency and
organization that are listed with this project.
Planning: Planning is one of the most important step that allow project executor to plan out
significant element and procedure for the completion of project (Åhman and et.al., 2018). In the
projection of Rapid Transition away from the Carbon Economy, there are certain phases of
project, these are: Market research: This is first and most important task where understanding the market
and examine need of conducting project, carbon economy is major problem which need
to be addressed to over danger to human life in coming future. Budget Planning: Budget is second most important element which need for completion
of project, reducing carbon in the economy is challenging task, sufficient budget will be

needed when completing research on carbon free economy and for further action
(Caprotti, 2016).
 Roles and responsibility: Every stakeholder connected with this project have aim to
capture those areas where pollution and carbon is been released, stakeholder may include
organization, local government worker and nation economist that have interest in
completion of this project.
Execution: Execution means carrying out the project after completing planning process, this
stage is important as this is key area for which project have been started. In the projection of
Carbon Free Economy, this stage will help in completing the project with different element, this
may include, Allocation of resource: Resource is important when completing an project, carbon free
economy is great project, resource will be required to understand why this project is
important (Fenner and et.al., 2018). Allocation of right resource will help in reducing
slow down occur due to lack of resource, contribution in carbon free economy will be
impacted if resource are not provided.
 Ongoing modification: Important to keep eye on modification required in the project
execution process, these are basic change that smoother the completion of project.
Change in every stage is acceptable.
Monitoring and control: This is important stage where government and other stakeholder and
project executor have to monitor the process and provide every essential thing required in the
completion (Lee, Bazilian and Hastings-Simon, 2021). Control the allocation of resource and
budget and over budget might become reason for failure, carbon free economy project will be
addressed when careful monitoring is conduced, this includes;
Track record: Monitoring is simply process, executor have to keep records of track and process.
The aim of carbon reduction in the economy will be address when clear track are recorded and
analysed.
Risk management: Project might face risk, monitoring is stage where risk should be addressed.
In carbon free economy project risk may arrive for example lack of budget and resource.
Completion: Completion of project allowing executor and government to understand those areas
where carbon is impacting and find out those reason that cause carbon in the economy.

Completion is last stage that help to detail requirement of carbon free economy and improving
the quality of every sector in the economy.
 Review of completion and understanding the mistake.
 Document preparation for next project.
Result or outcome of this project:
Carbon Economy is one of the biggest issue for the world economy, certain steps where
taken by government, private agency, voluntary organization, individual and companies to
reduce carbon release as much as possible. Government even have craft certain rules and
regulation that limit the impact to earth, this project is important as this will provide internal
detail why it has become most important to act now and take action to reduce carbon release in
the environment. After completion of this project, there are certain outcomes that will be
covered, these are:
Reduction in carbon: One of the most important aim is to reduce carbon release in the
environment, by the end of this project carbon release will be reduced because companies and
industries will going to take certain action (Lenzen and et.al., 2018). It is very clear, carbon issue
is understood by every company and mainly manufacturing industries, they know it is right time
to reduce profit and increase responsibility towards environment from which they are earning.
There is heavy need of rapid transition that reduce carbon in the economy, government planned
to reduce 80% carbon from the economy by the year 2080.
Betterment in environment: Overall objective of this topic is to focus on betterment of the
environment, carbon is toxic to both human and companies. This increase danger for human and
danger for companies as they will be shut down, this project will act as understanding where
companies will understand and examine importance of taking step and managing carbon release.
This is most critical time to stand for reduction of carbon to manage environment, every action
taken by government after reviewing this project will drive betterment in the environment.
Improve economic future: Controlling carbon is significantly important for every country, this
project will ensure why carbon control will be beneficial for the economy. Government plans to
invest in those sectors that have less carbon foot print, these industries may include hospitality
industry, entertainment industry, manufacturing industries with controlled intervention to reduce
carbon impact on environment (Mancini and et.al., 2016). Economic future lies in the hand of

carbon, if carbon is controlled then future will be better but if carbon is not managed by
government, individual and companies have to face issue including danger to human life as well.
Better industrial growth: Managing carbon is important, this allows companies to manage their
growth. Certain action and intervention are crafted to manage carbon impact on economy,
however, carbon control might end up businesses of manufacturing industries, it is very clear
transportation industry is one of the biggest industry that perform carbon emission in the
economy. This project will provide solution to those industries who were found to increasing
carbon in the economy.
Reduction in temperature: This one of the biggest benefit that can be seen when government
plan to reduce carbon emission in the economy, here private organization and businesses have to
work together to reduce emission. This project focuses on reducing temperature of earth, heat
wave and excessive warming in the world create certain problem in the process (Niamir and
et.al., 2018). Many industries are facing issue due to increase in temperature of the earth,
manufacturing process create heat but due to external heat, even mining industries can not
perform their task as machinery do not work or fail to work in excessive heating area. Reduction
in temperature can be seen when companies and businesses focus on carbon reduction, carbon
creating companies need to face restriction due to action.

According to Niamir and et.al., (2018), Carbon Economy is important area where everybody's
attention is required, this is rising issue that will be dangerous for the earth and every living
thing. Carbon is most toxic element in the environment produced by human activity mainly from
business point of view. It is very clear human urge to cut down trees and utilize it for business
purpose are never less, carbon is not only created by cutting down trees and burning it, this
mainly occur when fossil fuels are burned. The concept of carbon is wide, economy need those
sectors and industry that have less contribution in creating carbon, focusing on heavy industry, it
is important to understand that transportation and manufacturing industry have most amount of
contribution in carbon economy.
Every sector somehow contribute in carbon pollution, individual human being play active
role in boosting instability in the economy. Issue of carbon is slowly solving but still there is no
action taken by either government nor by individual, issue of carbon is major, government plans
need more strategies and mainly implementation that help in reducing carbon in the economy.

Every country have active role in reducing carbon in the environment but still government have
to take certain steps.
According to Owen, Brennan and Lyon (2018), Carbon Free Economy is still a dream for many
countries, continuous action and plans have improved whole economy and environment.
Government play active role in managing carbon in the environment, every country took
decision to manage carbon and reduce it in up coming years. Certain intervention is been
provided by the government and private advisor, management can be seen by crafting policy and
regulation that heavily control carbon in the economy. For example; carbon free economy by the
year 2050 including ban on plastic, ban on carbon producing activities, ban on coal burning for
other purpose and certain other ban.
Government promote use of electric vehicle in the country and avoid buying fossil fuel
car that have great impact on the environment. Carbon less economy means reducing greenhouse
gases produced by the industries in the manufacturing process, it is very clear that every country
need solid plan to reduce impact on environment. Carbon economy need to dissolve with carbon
free economy that ensure continuous development of businesses, industries and economy.
Pollution free or Carbon free economy is target that country try to achieve when focusing on
reducing carbon and its impact.
As per the view of Gros and et.al., (2016), carbon is most toxic material, this not only harm
human and other life but this harm life of business, industries and economy as well because
carbon is profiting making element. It is very clear that industries that produce carbon need
proper control, government plans and policy are not enough as businesses themselves have to
take steps to over this issue. Every country have control over industry and each sector, but
business have to complete their corporate social responsibility to overcome issue of carbon
economy. CSR is one of the most important element where companies stay active in managing
carbon and its impact on the environment.
Businesses should start change in their business process, sooner or later government will
make it compulsory to reduce carbon in which activities of business will be controlled by the
government. Government have strict action on controlling carbon in the economy, certain policy
and intervention is been designed to manage this issue, government promote CSR that allow
business to stay active in the economy. Businesses and industry need to understand importance
of focusing on CSR as this is beneficial in certain other ways as well.

This project is focusing on one of the major issue in the economy, primary objective is to
reduce carbon in the environment that impact economy. Another reason is to bring betterment
and stability in the business that allow government to become active in environment control
process (Owen, Brennan and Lyon, 2018). This project is important because this issue in rising
issue that need to be controlled before any disaster, change in climate in noticeable, global
warming in indication and change in temperature of the earth is some of the issue that will arrive
due to carbon in the economy. This project start with;
 Understanding the issue: Carbon is major issue, this project is design to reduce carbon
impact on the economy and to provide intervention to control it.
 Planning: project management lies in planning where budget, market research and roles
and responsibility is design.
 Implementation: at this stage of project management, implementation of project
planning is completed.
Project design:
Project implementation is one of the most important element in the process where
implementation of strategies that are developed to reduce carbon issue in the economy are
considered. Carbon in the environment and economy is serious issue that need to be addressed by
the businesses and industries, this project will be executed with the help of certain steps, these
are:
 Strategic design: Strategic design is important, this project have planned strategies for
its completion. For example; examining the policy and procedure of the government to
understand carbon issue and its impact on the economy (Višković, Franki and Bašić-
Šiško, 2022). This project was started with aim to review government action in
controlling carbon impact on the economy, and intervention designed by the government.
 Implementation process: Every project is implemented after understanding the concept,
this project implemented after crafting project and its essential requirement and
understanding the role of government in managing this issue in the process. Action and
strategies are designed by the government to control carbon, implementation of this
project will be done on the basis of government action.
 Monitor and reviewing: Monitoring the whole process of project implementation is
important, it becomes essential to keep eye on project and its process. Monitoring is part

of project design which fall at the last area where monitoring of resource are understood.
Government and local regional authority will review this project and provide
recommendation and intervention accordingly.
Conversation with supervisor:
Conversation is important with authority in charge, their viewpoint and action are considered in
planning to implementation process, these conversations are conducted on the basis of some area
in the project, these are:
 Project budget: Project Budget is most important thing that need to be conveyed with
supervisor, budget was not agreed with supervisor as they denied to work on provided
budget. It is very difficult to complete this project if sufficient budget is not provided,
regional government and local authority are ready to work under condition of sufficient
budget (Weber, Dordi and Oyegunle, 2020). However, budget is agreed by the supervisor
for the completion of this project.
 Project resource: Project resource is important in project completion, supervisor agreed
to provide every required resource in the process of implementing this project. Supervisor
advice to wisely use project resource as this will consider in budget provided by them,
wastage of resource will be challenging for the project executor.

This report has discussed carbon and its impact on economy. Later this report has
discussed recorded activities with steps of project management. Later literature search is been
conducted with viewpoint of author in the process. At last project design and conversation with
supervisor is been discussed.
