INTRODUCTIONVulnerable individuals include the people who involve either the racial or ethnicminority, low income, women facing physical and sexual abuse, etc. These are the persons thatwho lack in life skills as of the other humans and also the one who is unable to take care ofthemselves and also, who are not able to protect them from any sort of harm or danger (Bailey,2010). The activities and processes of a vulnerable person may be impaired. The report is aboutidentifying one vulnerable group and factors causing to the vulnerability. Also, it includes thevarious interventions that can help in reducing the vulnerability factors of the specific group. Thespecific group is taken in this report as the women who are subjected to domestic abuse duringtheir pregnancy period. Identification of a vulnerable group and analysis of factors contributing to the groupAs the specified group taken in this report is the women that are suffering from domesticabuse at their time of pregnancy, most common factors for this includes that the family does notwant the child to be a girl., so they focus on deliberately torture the women in order to abort thepregnancy. The issue of domestic abuse at the time of pregnancy needs to be considered. Asobserved from various reports, in some cases, it has been observed that even if the partner seemshappy enough with the news of pregnancy, there is no guarantee that there is no chance ofviolence. Pregnancy as considered as very happy news in some cases, while in some, it becomesthe reason for stress and violence in the home (O'Reilly, Beale and Gillies, 2010). Domestic violence is considered as the physical violence and has become a very seriousissue nowadays. It is not necessary that the domestic violence is done at the time of pregnancyonly but there are some other factors as well such as sometimes the family has some financialissues, then the partner feels frustrated with that and leaves all the frustration on the women. It iscompletely wrong. Sometimes, it happens because of mental health as well as in some caseswhere the mental stability of the person is not good, in that cases, the partner may feel like losingtheir frustration on women. So, it is another factor which can lead to the domestic violence.Although along with the physical, it also includes the sexual, economic violence. It is notnecessary that the violence or abuse is being done by the partner only, it may also be done by thefamily members. The risk of domestic violence is more in pregnancy because of some factorssuch as there are some cases when the women is being abused before pregnancy, especially in1
