INTRODUCTION
A Career Action Plan is an individualized plan students use to identify career goals and
describe the steps necessary to pursue those goals. Plans can be created so that an individual is
been able to achieve their personal as well as professional goals and objectives. Self-reflection
can be defined as basically analysing the strength and weakness of oneself and reflecting on the
part that needs to be developed. Present report will lay emphasis on the personal analysis, in this
review of current skills and knowledge will be done. Assignment will also lay emphasis on the
career development action plan. It will focus on the areas which need to be developed for
enhancing the career aspects. Report will also provide CV based on the knowledge skills and
expertise.
MAIN BODY
Personal analysis
The personal analysis will help in identifying the current skills that has been pursued by me. It
will also reflect on the areas where I lack and also it will provide details about my weak points
that I really need to overcome. In future I really want to work in hospitality industry as an
assistant manager, so various skills are been required by me so that I can grow professionally as
well as personally.
Current skills
Super verbal and written communication: I have analysed that my current skill is that I really
have good and effective communication skills and that too both verbal and written. As an
assistant manager in the hotel industry I can build up excellent business networks which are
really necessary for the growth of my company. This will also help me in creating better bond
with my team members (Deiorio and et.al., 2016). I will also be able to make my peer understand
about my thoughts. Effective communication can also help me as an assistant manager to reduce
down the conflict and chaos which generally exist in any hospitality organization. It will help me
in also solving the problem which is been faced by peers. Written communication can help me in
drafting out emails related to the information which must be known by the employees who are
working with me. This will help me in achieving my short term plan which is to become assistant
manager and also it will help me in opening my own hotel which is my long term plan.
Key decision maker: I have analysed that as an assistant manager I am also really good at
making better decisions. This has assisted me in taking decisions which has helped me in

Self-motivation, creativity and commitment: I have also analysed that I am really good at
motivating my peer while working with them in the hotel organization. This has assisted me in
retaining employees and also they have been able to create employee loyalty which is really
necessary for the growth of firm. I have also analysed that as an assistant manager I was been
able to bring new and innovative ideas and services which has helped me in fulfilling the needs
and demands of my consumers. This has also helped me in growing personally as well as
professionally. I have also analysed that as an assistant manager I was really committed towards
my firm (Wehmeyer and Shogren, 2017). I really had the ability to think out of the box which
has helped my hotel in growing and achieving more profitability as well as the revenue. I was
self-motivated that I really want to grow and open my personal hotel in future and for this I was
really working day and night so that my goals and objectives can be achieved.
Ability to seek and locate new business leads and opportunities: I also had the ability
to seek and locate new opportunities which was really necessary for growth of hotel in which I
was working. This has helped me in bringing out new products and services which was really
necessary in order to satisfy the consumers (Paterson and Santy, 2018). It has also assisted me in
creating a base for my organization. It has assisted my firm in growing and achieving goals and
objectives.
