Introduction
I have learned various skills from academic that helps me in preparing for the career and keep
me stay focused to find out the new opportunities. Academic skills are very essentials
because it assists me to become professional and enhance my knowledge so that I can make
different strategies to pursue my career(Pan and et.al., 2021). Professional skills enable me to
get the job easily and positively affect my performance at the workplace. These are the skills
which are taught at the schools that are translated into professional. These skills help in
increasing the ability to focus so as to complete the work effectively. In this report, I will
discuss about my strength and find opportunities for the career development.

Swot analysis
This is a strategic tool that provide me insight to know my strength, weaknesses,
opportunities and threat. I have done my personal analysis which are as under:
Strengths Weaknesses
Organization: I am good at organisation
which enable to complete the work or duties
in time. I am going to be professional so it
help me to understand and make me able to
prioritise the task which are seems to be
very important(Kollom and et.al., 2021). I
will be able to create plan effectively and to
get the good position in an organisation.
Leadership: I can be a good leader because
I am able to make management of people
and provide them motivation to get them
more effective. I am to provide proper
guidance and make collaboration with the
team members. I can assign task and make
them accountable for the responsible tasks.
Even, I can get the team understand the task
with politeness.
Lack of enthusiasm: I am having lack of
enthusiasm to start my work which fall me
behind from my peers and team members.
This create lack of interest in me and also
down my morale and get me low
productive.
Lack of communication: I am having lack
of communication because at time I do not
understand what people speak about due
their low tone and create
misunderstanding(Abe, Abe and Adisa,
2021). Due to this problem in am not able to
communicate well with others and not able
to share my ideas with them. It also lead to
the unnecessary conflicts and form anxiety
to the team.
Time management: I am not good at time

Creative: I am much creative and bring my
new ideas to perform the work effectively
and allow me to express myself and
encourage me to promote critical thinking.
Creativity provides me assistance solve
many problems and allow me to enter in the
happier zone(Jakučionytė-Skodienė and
Liobikienė,2021). It also help me to reduce
the stress and anxiety and develop a new
sense of humour.
Teamwork: I am having interpersonal skills
which help in making collaboration with the
team members. When I will get a good job
so I will use this skills to cooperate my co-
workers and the supervisor as well in
performing the job responsibilities. By
working together with the team, it is easy to
accomplish the tasks and also offers help to
them.
Writing skills: I am good at writing that
makes me more creative. With the help of
their skills I can be able to envisage and
make something. This skills help in storing
and providing valuable perspective to ideas
that might not be forgotten. It provides me
sense of accomplishment and feeling of
empowerment that positively affect my
mood. It is a best technique which can
make the memory sharp and can make me
better writer.

would be able to provide better solution to
the problems. It makes me able to analyse
the information and understanding the
concept. I may be able to face the challenge
in an organisation and use this skill to face
them.

Procrastination: Sometimes, I do not allow
myself to work for taking rest which create
hindrances as my tasks are not complete in

It is an action plan consists of many objectives that are to be achieved for personal
development and go ahead towards the career(Osborn, Brown, and Morgan, 2021). It
clarifies all the action and documented it so that can be accomplished easily. The action plan

From the above discussion it has been concluded that academic and professional skills
are very important to get grab the good opportunity and position in an organisation. This
skills enhance our knowledge and make me more efficient learner. I will be able to
communicate in a better way, mange time and collaborate with the team member. This skill
make me able to be good leader who can lead effectively to the team members. It make me
able to understand the different perspective of the people and enable me to contribute in
