INTRODUCTION Career development refers to the process that an individual can undergo in order to develop its occupational status. It can also be defined as the procedure of taking effective decisions in order to achieve long term goals and objectives by identifying skills and knowledge and focus towards continuously improving it(Nagy, and et.al.,2019). The report is based on career action plan and covers the personal analysis by identifying the skills and knowledge that is highlighted CW1.The study also highlights the career action plan which helps in improving the skills and knowledge in order to succeed in the career. MAIN BODY Personal analysis From the CW1 analysis I came to understand it in order to achieve to the desires position it is very necessary for me have required skill and knowledge that will help me achieve my short as well as long term goals. Career growth is defined as a process of growing in the professional life that also helps in contributing towards improving skills and knowledge of an individual. After completing graduation I want to choose the required professional career and in order to reach on that platform it is necessary for me to have required skills, knowledge and experience that will make it simpler for me to interact with my co-workers and superiors that will help in boosting me self-confidence as well(Ohunakin, Adeniji, and Oludayo, 2018). If I want to peruse my career in accounting and finance it is very necessary for me to have skills and knowledge in order to give best performance in this field. In order to reach to that position i have to identify mystrengthsthatmyskills(Burt,andet.al.,2018).IobservedthatIhaveeffective communication skills as I get connected with other students and this can helps me to achieve the desired goals in my life. It can be my strength as I can without hesitation interact with my managers and co- worker which will not only help me in building my relationship but through interaction will help in exchange of ideas and knowledge that will help to enhance my knowledge and also helps in enhancing my active listening skills as well(Sreena, and Ilankumaran, 2018). On the other hand, it is required to have knowledge of accounting and basic technical skills as it is very necessary for me to have basic technical knowledge in the era of digitalisation(Nurmawati,and Novita, 2022). Furthermore, I realised through have to make various improvements in data analytical
skills that will help me to understand the financial aspects of the transaction of the company. In order to peruse my career in finance havingdata analytical skills is very necessary(Douglas,and Gammie,2019). Not only this every task has some time limitation in which it is be completed and presented before the superiors. So by considering this aspect it is very necessary for me to effectivetime management skills which will also help me to realise my efficiency and help in evaluating my performance and capability to complete the task in the given time limit(Rani, and Sharma, 2018). On the other hand it is required that task performed should be properly managed and it is necessary to keep the accounting records systemically as it is published before stakeholders. Therefore it is required that I should have effective organisational skills in order to perform the task effectively and organised way. Furthermore, accounting and finance is based on based on calculations and practical based work which required to have effective reasoning skills in order to solve the accounting calculations(Easton, and Djumalieva,2018). I realised that my numerical skills is weak andhave to make efforts in improving my reasoning skills in order to achieve my career goals. With the help of this I identified my strengths that will help in successfully achieving the career goals as having effective communication skills and active listening skills which can be helpful in successfully achieving their objectives that can also lead to personal and professional development. On the other hand it is required for me to clearly identify my weaknesses that will help me to understandthe skills that is necessary in order to reach at the desired position. I should analyse the skills that I needed to improve and make action plan in order to success in my career goals. Not only this it will also help me plan my short- term as well as long-term goals. With the help of identifying these strengths and weakness it can help me to effectively interact with my co-workers and also enhance my knowledge(Osiurak, and et.al.,2021). This has helped to gain confidence and encouraged my achieve higher goals after my graduation but during this period I have to remain focus on enhancing these skills and plan accordingly.
