Introduction
The term career development and lifelong learning is defined as the whole process of
learning new skills and knowledge which are used and implemented throughout the life. The
report will highlight the concepts which are linked with the career development strategies of a
learner and students. The report will present various a range of strategies that lead to high
performance of the people to successfully achieve the targets .The provided assignment relates to
the presentation of the blog that will be attached in the appendix. Further, the report will
highlight the key elements by analysing the personal performance to demonstrate learning and
self-improvement.

Goal setting
By setting personal objectives, a student or learner get a direction in attaining the personal
objectives of the life or career. As the objectives give something to aim for by making use of
available resources, efforts and these goals will be used as a guide to reach success in the life.
When the goals are decided and written then, it will be clear for the learner in achieving such
goals. Also, the various tasks done on daily basis, will add up to the big results for the
betterment. Various goals are explained below that is short term , medium term and long term
goals -
Short-term goals (next 2-3 months)
One of my short term goal is to keep my workstation organised and clean so, that I can
enhance the level of productivity and I will be more focused and inspired to study.
To enhance my communication skills as this skill supports in many ways in life and due
to this I will be able to resolve the conflicts in life and present myself better.
Another short term goal is to magnify my overall academic performance to get the
better learnings from my module so that I can attract and bring more opportunities in
the future for both personal and career aspects.
Another short term goal is to submit all my projects and assignments on the time and

Also, my another goal is to strengthen my notes making skills so that I can keep the
information organised in the form of notes of the class.
Medium term goals (next 4-6 Months)
My medium goal is to complete my module and education program with a better score
and good grades by getting depth of knowledge .
One more goal is to learn new languages that is French and Spanish in the next months
as it is necessary for adding success in my life. My thinking pattern will be more
flexible and creative.
Longer term goals (beyond 6-12 Months)
Longer term goal is to build up my emotional intelligence by making use of various
skills for example by actively listening to the people, by being more focused and many
others .
Another long term is to start up my own business by prioritizing my goals with
managing finances and fully focus on the goal.
One more long term goal is to give priority to my health by making some changees in
my lifestyle and diet.

which are decided and set by an individual. Such goals and targets helps the students or learners
to grow not only professionally but also on a personal level (Pasha,, 2018).There are various
skills which are explained below-
Communication- This skill allows the learners to speak, write in a better manner in order to
convey the idea and message to the other team members. Learners who are good communicators
have the courage to speak and present confidently in the situation. Due to communication skills
the learners and employees enhance the level of creativity and helps them to manage, plan,
promote the processes and system of the business. The communication skills are the reason that

why we all became more productive even in a negative situation. When I faced the negative
situation, after the self analysis, I was able to reduce my negatives and lacking area in a positive
manner. Moreover, all such skills provided me with knowledge of various skills and techniques
which can be used at the organisation or workplace. In order to encourage and promote
organisation culture for generating more profits. Employee retention and progression is said to be
