INTRODUCTIONCareer Development is a developmental process and a act taken by an individualthroughout their life. These developmental programmes confiscated by an individual which ismainly related to their occupations. Generally, career development is linked with managing aperson career in inter-organizational as well as in intra-organizational scenario. A person cantake advantages of different types of career development practices such as, continuous trainingon a new skill, career change in a same company, switching form one organisation to other,moving forward on higher job responsibilities and creation of self business venture. Careerdevelopment is automatically associated with individual self determined goals and objectives.This is ascertained by assessing self capabilities and interests and matching them with availablecareer development options. Career development benefits an individual in an organisation toeffectively determine their growth and move towards right direction. Present report has beenconducted on, ABC which is a multinational conglomerate company based in USA (Anstey andRiggar, 2017). The company had its headquarter in Boston and had established in the year 1892.The company performs their functions in various sectors such as aviation, health care, Power,renewable energy, digital industry additive manufacturing, venture capital and finance, lightingand oil and gas. ABC offers dedicated training and development to their employees by owing aseparate T&D entity. In this report, interview of entity head has been included along withorganisation and T&D mission, vision, business management team and history. In addition withthis, importance of training entity for organisation and challenges and opportunities of careerdevelopment are included in this report. Lastly, literature review on global career management iscovered in this present report in order define overall concept of training and development.PART 1a. ABCorganization was founded in the year 15th April, 1892 by Thomas Edison, in Schenectady, Newyork, United State. Now, they have their head quarter at Boston, Massachusetts, Unites State.They have around 313,000 employees working with them all over the world. Also, due toincrease in gross profit and income, they have huge source of finance which increase their powerto invest and take risk, so that their performance get improved (Chang and et. al., 2016). ThomasEdison, was one of the greatest investor and business man of America, they has developed amplenumber of electronic products, due to which America was declared as largest investor country in19th century. During 1889, he have interest in several electronic companies, which includeEdison lamp company, which are lamp manufacturer and have their manufacturing unit in EastNewark, New Jersey. Along with this, he had interest in Edison machine work, which use tomanufacture dynamos along with heavy and large electric motors, they have their manufacturingunit in Schenectady, New York. In 1889, J.P. Morgan and Anthony J.
