Elements of IKIGAI framework
The current workplace and career decisions revolves around the generation of
employability, project management, decision making and problem solving skills. The career
decisions of the employees depends on the skills and expertise, which they have gained
during the high school years (Crane et al., 2019). I think problem solving skills are very much
effective for enhancing the decision making skills. In this context, I can mention about the
IKIGAI framework, which caters to the difference between one’s desires and the expectations
of the world. Important questions of this framework are: What one loves? ; What the world
needs; What one pays for; what one is good at. I am also good at social skills, which helps me
to mix with people from different culture. I am passionate towards improving the
communication skills, which indicates the intention towards creating a good image in the
minds of the foreign delegates.
Attempting to answer these questions, I can say that I love to work on projects, which
involves interacting with new people. This process helps me to learn about new cultures,
enhancing my knowledge and expertise. According to my observation, the world needs
productive youths, who can contribute into the economic growth and development. One pays
for the actions, which is committed for fulfilling the identified goals and objectives (Trevino
& Nelson, 2016). I think I am good at exposing hard work, which helps me to undertake
challenging and enduring tasks. This initiative helps me to move beyond my comfort zone,
expanding the scope and arena of my thinking skills and judgmental capabilities. Moving
beyond the comfort zone helps me expanding the scope and arena of the capabilities and
competencies.
Cultural values of the leading companies
I have learnt that most important cultural values of Woolworths are honesty, integrity,
accountability, which enhances the stability in the relationship with the clients and the

customers. Continuous improvement strategies are used for detecting the ways in which
services can be improved for gaining trust, loyalty and dependence from the stakeholders and
shareholders. In the operations, I have found that fairness prevails, which reflects compliance
with the standards and protocols of the ethical code of conduct. Along with this, Fair working
Ombudsman is followed, which helps Woolworths in averting the illegal instances
(Woolworthsgroup.com.au, 2020). I think this fairness and transparency is appropriate in
terms of luring more clients and customers towards investing in the services. The services of
Woolworths is customer oriented, which adds value to the corporate social responsibility. I
have gained information about collaboration, which helps the staffs to avoid conflicts,
discriminations and harassments.
Inclusive working practices enhance the cultural diversity of Coles. The stakeholders
and shareholders are inspired to value the diversity elements, which improves the stability
and adjustment skills, indicative of a congenial working environment (Colesgroup.com.au,
2020). I have researched that leadership and culture are the keystones for Coles in terms of
ensuring the wellbeing of the clients and customers. The team members are inspired to work
with great cooperation, enhancing the unity and coordination. Community development is a
part and parcel of the Coles’ business. Typical evidence of this lies in involving the
community of Torres Strait islander into the mainstream business activities.
Current reasons for motivation towards work
I think workplace culture is an aspect, which reflects the strategy towards serving the
clients and the customers. The employees belong to different socio-cultural backgrounds,
which indicates diversification at workplace. The values of honesty, integrity, accountability
and fairness represents the ley attributes, which are needed in terms of maintaining the
workplace decorum, order and harmony (Reiter, 2018). According to me, inclusive working
practices motivates me the most in terms of performing the projects in an efficient and
