personality, experience, capabilities and potential that an individual have with them. The
chosen organisation for preparing this report is Morrisons (Roussy, Barbe, and Raimbault,

individual, personal skill audit, SMART objectives, short, medium & long term career
objectives. Lastly, the report is ended with the professional development plan.
1.1 Justification
The organisation which I have chosen for preparing this report is Morrisons. I have selected it
because this is fourth largest supermarket chain (Eulerich, and et. al., 2022). They have a
large number of suppliers who are working with them at global level. I will get to learn new
skills & knowledge related to logistics chain management and will get ample of growth
opportunities. They have started it operations in 1899 and till now they are able to open 497
stores with a workforce of 110,000 employees. The company is listed on London Sock
Exchange which enhances its brand value. If I would get the opportunity to work with such
organisation then I will be able to improve my skills. The organisation is having a large
logistics department where I can work an flourish my knowledge and skills. So, if I make
continuous efforts then I could reach at the top positions within the organisation. Also, I will
get the expert advice and training in the organization from which I can work and seek
knowledge. By having large number of employees working in logistics department I will get
to learn form different experienced persons. They will guide me though out my career.

in logistics department. Thus, I want to join Morrisons as a Logistics Executive and with
spam of time I will be able to secure one of the top position in Logistics department in this

I started my career as a Swab collector in February, 2020, when few job opportunities are
available due to rise in situation of Covid – 19 pandemic. I use to collect samples from the
clients and make delivery of the report (Ge, Wu and Zhou, 2021). Here, I have to make sure
that the reports are being delivered safely and on time. So, through this I learned to manage
my time properly so that I never missed my deadlines. Then after working as a Swab
collector with full dedication I joined another organisation as a Van driver. Here, my key
responsibilities are to sort the goods, pick up the order along with picking up the workers.
The workforce or labours which belongs to various cities are being picked up to the locations
where they want to reach. By reaching at this point of time I was quite confident as I am able
to manage my things properly by learning time management skills. To lead as an effective
manager it is required to have skills set of different skills. I feel confident when I am able to
influence my workforce by my effective communication skills. With this, the arrangement for
delivering products are also monitored by me. At the time of performing these activities I
have able to learn how to manage my time properly (Khlopov, 2019). I was also able to
select the best route though which I can make the products deliver and is able to save my
time, efforts and cost. I learned all the routes which are being used by me for travelling. I am
capable to travelling long distances without facing any hurdles. In future, I want to work in
Morrisons as an Logistics Executive. I want to build my career in Logistic department
because I am having around 2 years of experience in same field. I have developed skills such
as communication and time management skills, which are essential to build my career in
Logistics department. I will be able to serve in lot of industries such as Retail, FMCG,
manufacturing, pharmaceuticals or freight by choosing logistics department as my career
opportunity. I will also get the opportunity to travel world wide by building my career in this
field. With the development in the technology, logistics have also taken rapid growth. The
