INTRODUCTION
I have chosen the human resource management profession which is considered as major
profession. In the functioning of a business entity, human resource management is termed as
backbone of a business (Analoui, 2017). I have a strong desire to develop career in the human
resource management field in order to manage precious employees of an organisation. The
individuals are taking interest in human resource management in order to develop best business
practices. I consider that human resource management is most important field which helps a
business to gain competitive advantage. The human resource management field is also
considered as major field which is helpful in increasing skills and knowledge of the employees.
This research project will cover key and new trends in the field of human resource which are
important for overall growth. The project will cover primary information and open ended
questions for an interview. This report will collect key secondary information from major books,
article and other sources. This research report will include development of knowledge and skills
which are essential part of HR profession.

It is essential for an individual to analyse major trends in the field of HR profession in
order to develop precise approach. The employees are considered as key resource for the
business who are always helpful in supporting key business operations and functions
(Armstrong, and Taylor, 2020). The key trends in the field of human resource management are
mentioned below:
Globalisation- The globalisation is a concept which is highly crucial when it comes to
management of HR planning and organisation. It can be said that due to the generation of
digital platforms across the globe, it has become easier for the MNC to recruit major
individual who can deliver best potential in the favour of company. Now, companies can
contact and collaborate with multiple competent individuals within countries to ensure
that they hire skilled staff in accordance with functional requirement of the organisation
(Banfield, Kay, and Royles, 2018).
Information and technology- The information and technology is growing at a rapid
phase in the recent times. The human resource management is also taking support of key
business activities related to information and technology in order to increase the business
strength. In the era of stiff competition between different companies, it is main role of a
business to focus on HR supporting functions in order to gain competency edge.
Employee wellness programme- The employee wellness programmes are major
approaches which helps the business to gain effectiveness. It is major role of a business to
focus on development in wellness programme for welfare of employees (Bratton, Gold,
Bratton, and Steele, 2021). The human resource management also performs development
of major wellness programmes in order to increase the overall strength of employee
development programme.
Green HRM- The sustainability is one of the key practices which help human resource
management to increase market potential and growth. It is major role of human resource
management to analyse key areas of development related to sustainability in order to
