INTRODUCTION
The aim of this study is to identify the skill, knowledge and experience required for
specific job role within a chosen profession. The goal of this report is to create future career plan
for an applicant who want to enter into right profession after completing their graduation. This
project covers marketing profession. Furthermore, the aim of this study is to explain general
trends which will impact on chosen profession. It defines appropriate vacancy from chosen
profession and justifies reason behind it.
ANALYISS AND APPLICATION-
General trends which will affect chosen profession
Marketing is one of the best professions, which can be chosen by many students after
leaving particular university. Different kind of changes happens within this profession which
may be impact on jobs applied by applicant. Few trends mentioned below:
Marketing skills are in demand-
In marketing profession, the demand for relevant skills was increasing more and more. A
spike in need for business to business demand generation marketers, in direct response to
booming technology industry (Liu, 2019). Tech giants such as indigenous and HubSpot are
seeking out for lead gen abilities. Equally, there has been an increase in demand for specialist
and inbound marketing skills, Google Adwords and experience is high. Only those applicant who
had this skills applicable for marketing job as it put negative impact on some people who does
not have these abilities. Person with these capabilities are securing essential salaries, and have
benefit over traditional marketing generalists with same number of period experience. Job entry
level for marketing jobs are more competitive, it also affect negatively when candidate apply for
it, they need to set themselves apart from other grads more than ever. Strong qualification from
well reputed university create barriers to enter into this profess along with required skill.
Innovation will become more flexible and faster-

The needs for reactive and faster innovation will become even much integral (Padilha and
Gomes, 2016). Some organizations have already realized the significance of speed and are
adopting more streamlined innovation procedures, but further year they expect to see a lot of
things being put into action in marketing profession. This kind of expectation put negative
impact on jobs applicant apply for as they need to be more innovative in ideas and should be able
to develop creative ideas that will enhance the productivity level of firm rather than its
competitors within specific sector for longer period. It put a lot of pressure on candidate when
they apply for marketing profession after completing their graduation. It is quite difficult to be
innovative at all the time because it requires a lot of more practices and experience before apply
for job in marketing profession. So it can be said that, this factor impact negatively. Demand for
innovative applicants directly affects on person apply for job within above profession.
Hiring trends in marketing profession (technology development)-
Employer within chosen profession uses different methods for recruiting or hiring new
applicants who are eligible for specific job role in marketing (Frey and Osborne, 2017).
Technology advancement strengthen hiring procedure rather than before, which affect when
person apply for job as they end to conduct research and place their CV at the top most hiring
application according to trends that affect negatively as it requires money and effort as well.
Technology is developing to aid marketers make smarter and better decision rather than before.
Marketing hiring trends report showed all indication of continued progress in recruitment during
year. Manager could not find applicants they required to fill roles by conducting research as it
consumes a lot of time and efforts as well. So now according to new trend, they prefer to hire
people for marketing profession via digital marketing tools for hiring the right individual with all
appropriate skills as well as knowledge. Range of tools or applicants available, which create
confusion for person to chose the right one for themselves.
Knowledge or skills and experienced required for specific profession
In recent time, most people are choosing marketing as one of the best profession because
it now in demand. It cannot be described in few words, because depending on form of business
their job description modifications. To get job in marketing profession, some specific skills and
knowledge will be required.

Niche marketing skills-
Employers increasingly seek from an applicant with deep reservoirs of business
knowledge fed by streams of understanding in disparate disciplines (Hamlin, Knight and
Cuthbert, 2016). At this stage, person needs to develop strong critical thinking skills aided by
knowledge in disciplines including among other people. With this ability, candidate can apply
for job in marketing profession and get recruited by the recruiter within large company. This skill
allow candidate to think creatively and make them able to bring innovative ideas which is quite
beneficial for companies.
Creativity-
It is the ability among person to think about a particular task in a unique or new way or
the skill to use imagination to generate new ideas (Dayan, Ozer and Almazrouei, 2017). This
skill is expected by employer from a candidate at the stage when they seek to apply for
marketing profession. This ability make candidate capable to solve complex issue while doing or
find effective ways to approach work. Creative thinking permit applicants to find out the best
solution and create interesting ideas that drive firm towards bring innovative idea.
Communications-
Leaders within giant company look to marketing worker for a concise explanation and
justification of what happening in marketplace and why (Cerezo-Narváez, Bastante-Ceca and
Yagüe-Blanco, 2018). The skill to capture difficult info or data that responds to wide questions
and defend an essential point of view articulately is big. Communication skills for marketing
profession is one of the most important skill at this stage which make person able to
communicate and interact with consumers in order to identify their needs as well as preferences.
Analytical skills-
There are been an exponential progress in business analytics and marketing is one of the
discipline that is seek to capitalize on that data (Di Gregorio and et.al., 2019). Therefore, many
recruiting manager for marketing roles are considering for applicants with analytical skills. At
this stage, it is very important for candidate to have this ability because it helps them to get the
best job position within marketing profession. With this skill, individual is able to analyze

current information within market and then develop marketing plan for specific product or
services.
Conceptual knowledge-
This knowledge concentrates on theoretical background of discipline of chosen
profession and has a long life cycle. It refers to the understanding of principles, models, concepts
and theories of marketing. Through listening, thoughtful, reading and experiencing practical or
theoretical activities applicant can develop this skill which is quite beneficial and useful for them
while doing job in context of marketing profession. It was expected from an individual to have
conceptual knowledge which makes them able for developing marketing strategies or
advertisement plan.
Technical knowledge-
It is very important for a person who applies for job in marketing profession to have
greater knowledge about latest technology. It will make them capable to create promotional
content by using latest machines available in the world.
Experience-
Bachelor’s degree in marketing is required and expected from an applicant at the stage
when they apply for job role in specific profession.
EVALUATION
I had identified a right vacancy from my chosen profession that is marketing manager. I
think the chosen job is quite interesting for me because I like to conduct market research, analyze
the relevant information available in market and more especially communicate with many people
who are able to share and give info about their preferences. This job role is appropriately related
to my potential of profession as I have all the skills and knowledge required for job marketing
manager position within big organizations. I prefer this job opportunity to other I considered
because I think that in future the growth chances in marketing profession is high more than other.
It is one of the most emerging job roles within marketing profession; marketing manager job
satisfaction is rated in terms of upward mobility and flexibility. I chose my career in field of

marketing as manager. It is a fast paced and progressing industry in the world. It is perfect for me
because I am efficient, strategic and decisive. I have excellent communication and critical
thinking skills, which I learn by taking courses regarding this job role. In the future, whole
activities are rely on technology which is very beneficial for companies as they require those
applicants who are able to work with latest technologies as marketing manager job role, so I can
said that this role is perfect for me and my professional career growth.
CONCLISION
From above analysis it has been concluded that communication, niche market, critical
thinking and analytical skills are require among an applicant who seek to apply for job in
marketing profession. It has been summarized that, marketing manager job is an emerging role, it
help to enhance motivational level of person rather than before while they communicate with
number of people in the world.
