Moving forward in career to attain professional aspirations involves understanding the personal
skills and determining the overall capabilities in relation to the career goals. This is because
understanding personal attributes in relation to professional development help create suitable
plan for attaining career objectives (Grossi, Holmes and Ibrahim, 2021). This report includes
personal analysis which covers the personal capabilities along with SWOT analysis. This
personal analysis is conducted in marketing field because the previous position is of marketing
manager. After this a career action plan is formulated on the basis of SMART goals which
supports immediate development of the individual to future career path. Besides this CV and
LinkedIn profile related to career progression in the marketing field are also provided in this
report in order to apply for suitable jobs in the marketing field.

Personal Analysis
Personal analysis is defined as the process of understanding individual capabilities and
aspects which need to e improved in context of specific goal (Bardach and et. al., 2020). I aim to
gain career advancement in marketing field and develop strong professional; identify in this
occupation. In case of the marketing field the main skills which are essential for securing
recruitment are leadership skills, communication skills, decision making skills, problem solving,
time management skills and budgeting skills. In addition to this employees having credentials
related to digital marketing are also given preference in hiring because digital marketing has
become an important aspect of overall marketing strategy of enterprises. I have effective
communication skills and time management skills. In addition to this I also have suitable
evidence for each of these skills which can improve my appearance as a potential candidate in
the marketing field. In case of my communication skills, the evidence for high level
communication skills include my proficient verbal communication in English and the positive
feedback gained in context of my academic writing skills. This evidence will depict that I have
effective verbal as well as written communication skills which can be used in a corporate setting.
In case of, my tim4e management skills, the record of submitting various academic assignments
in a timely manner is the supporting evidence of my effective time management skills.

feel that the weakest area is of decision making and problem solving skills. This is because I do
not have high proficiency in taking quick decisions or coming up with practical long term

because they play an essential role in gaining recruitment and moving upward in marketing
