INTRODUCTION
In previous assessment, job opportunity of Internal auditor has been identified, which in
an reality needs to be carry-on in this assessment. Internal auditor is one who is appointed by the
management of the company in order to carry out internal audit functions. Generally, this is an
employees whose task or activities is to do audit work in an organisation to gather sources of
suitability and validity of an information (Bosanquet, 2014). Some companies appoints internal
person as an internal auditor, where some appoints external experts as an internal auditor to
perform. In order to perform these job opportunity, the purpose of this report needs to be shifted
to full list of skills and knowledge/expertise that are majorly necessary to become expertise in
that area of working. Skills such as communication, analytical, problem solving and aptitude
skills are required along with knowledge over audit practice and also certified accountant who
have adequate knowledge and also short term practices in that context.
For this job opportunity, expertise of 1 year is role play experience which requires a
formal working and also person must have right and priority to take independent decisions. For
this, report will put its focus on self-evaluation and reflection on understanding of skills,
competencies and development of job opportunity of an internal auditors.
PERSONAL ANALYSIS
For the job opportunity of an Internal auditors, I realised various important skills, level of
competencies, knowledge or expertise required to development my credentials or portfolio in
accordance to that. For this role, I identified that skills such as critical analysis skills, topmost
communication, data mining & analysis and IT skills has been identified as value to perform
defined job role in that context. My knowledge level is highly reflective to this position to work
in an effective manner. I also gained knowledge on working for job opportunity as an internal
auditor with short term training and also practice in that field (Lodge, 2013). But in contrast, I
needs to be focus on regular practice or upgrading obtained knowledge by looking at a current
trends running into the market at a greater scenario. On this role of an internal auditor, I also got
various valuable feedback and reviews in audits based practices or seminar over my knowledge
or skills in doing practices for internal auditors for working in E&Y. Also, it has been my
continues practice will proved me right in my personal goals or targets to be accomplished in
given period of time. For this, job opportunity, I really needs to be focus on my skills,
