Abstract
Strategy planning is vital to an organization since it gives an ability to read a compass and

this report, we have discussed about the business strategic management and Human resource
management techniques followed by two different organizations. The background study is
carried out for the both case studies such as Coles Super Market Australia Pty Ltd and Common
Wealth Bank of Australia. In this section, the business process conducted by the both
managements are analysed. The interview is carried out to the people who are working in these
two organization and who possess the designation of IT manager. To know the strategy on IS
planning and human resource management, we have conducted interview of IT managers of
Coles supermarket and commonwealth bank. Based on their statements and responses the issues
faced by the company is analysed, and the IS planning and Human resource strategy followed by
the organizations were discussed. Based on the responses given by the interviewees the suitable
solutions to the issues are determined during analysis. According to the literature analysis, the
Strategic human resource management is the advanced idea and it is varied according to
organization’s strategy. Then we have discussed the IT Human Resource Management and the
Business Continuity Management of the main associations in Australia. So that the IS planning
strategy and IT Resource management system of these two organizations are gathered. The
issues related to the chosen area of the business is discussed. Such as Managerial issues, HR
management issues in recruiting process, Inefficiency of low level skilled employees ethical
issues and business strategy plan issues. Based on the comparative analysis on each process, the
appropriate solutions for the issues are concluded.

1. Introduction
The main aim of this report is to identify an efficient IS planning strategy and Human
Resource management strategy to manage organization. In this report, we will discuss about the
business strategic management and Human resource management techniques followed by two
different organizations. We are going to conduct interview of IT managers of Coles supermarket
and Common Wealth bank. Based on their statements the issues faced by the company is
analysed, the IS planning followed by the organization were discussed. Then the suitable
recommendation to the issues will be determined during analysis.
Strategic Human Resource Management is a cutting edge business idea that has been
