INTRODUCTION
Intercultural competence is defined as ability of functioning effectively across cultures,
for thinking and acting appropriately and for communicating and working with different people
from background specifically in culture (Portera and Grant, 2017). It is a asset which is very
valuable in this globalising world where people have to make interaction with people who belong
from different countries and cultures who have shaped with different experiences, beliefs and
values. This specific assignment focuses on autobiographies related to culture of two different
persons who have backgrounds that are different. It focuses on determining different values and
beliefs through different cultural framework for evaluating differences in their culture
(Irwansyah, 2019).

Cultural autobiography is defined as narration of events from own life of a person. It
assists in revealing assumptions and digging deep into person's psyche for bringing out notions
that are preconceived of culture related to the sub groups and micro-cultures for making up
identity and role in the society (Simpson and Dervin, 2019). Cultural autobiography
questionnaire are defined as close ended questions which define about the characteristics of an
individuals by themselves regarding culture.

From the above mentioned cultural autobiography questionnaire it is interpreted that I
believe that I like to communicate with different people who are belonging from different culture
as I feel that I get more knowledge about different characteristics of people as I am able to get
knowledge about different languages and can learn about these languages so that it can be used
when I would get chance to move in different countries. It is also assumed that I like to work
individually because where I am able to show my talent and skills because I think in teams
individual's skills do not get importance. It is also determined with my experience that I believe
in equality on the basis of gender be it man or woman. I feel that they both are equal in skills,
hard work and capacity to perform work efficiently and effectively. It is also observed by myself
that I like to work and live in uncertain situations because it provides me opportunity and get
better results. It is also interpreted that I have been very assertive in nature because I have given
value to competition and success.
