INTRODUCTIONHealth care sector is very essential to make citizen of country healthy by solving theirproblem in an appropriate manner. It is necessary for medical specialists to remain careful anddeal with patients in proper way so that complicated condition of person can be treatedsuccessfully (Bergdahl and et. al., 2013). There are various cases in which severe complicationsare observed then it is mandatory to closely monitor the patient and conduct treatment procedureeffectively as well as efficiently to sort out specific health problem. A single mistake ornegligence of employees of hospitals may lead to critical situation or death of the patient. Thisreport is based on given case study that includes crucial medical situation of patient named asYsabel Green. The assignment will discuss about clinical practice issues and health & safetystandards to care for a patient. MAIN BODYIn the given case, various kinds of clinical practices are applied by medical specialists inwhich certain issues are observed in care of Yasble. There are different types of medical caseswhich are observed on regular basis in which some are complicated and require more care andattention to diagnose them (Hinsliff-Smith, Gates & Leducq, 2012). It is necessary for medicalprofessionals to examine health situation of a patient very carefully and then apply appropriatetreatment accordingly. According to the given case, Ysabel Green a 33 years old lady having 3daughters along with medical history of asthma, cholelithiasis pre birth of her 3rd child andgestational diabetes. After delivery of third premature baby in 37the week, she had experiencedsome episodes of right upper quadrant pain and nausea. Ysable was admitted to emergencydepartment of hospital A where she did not get any relief from medications and then her husbandadmitted her to hospital B where they provide Morphine 2.5 mg IV 1-2 hourly prn andOndansetron 4 mg IV to relieve her from nausea & vomiting. Thus, they also conduct severalmedical investigations that involves FBE, U&E, LFTs and an abdominal ultrasound (Shiu and et.Al., 2012). There were several clinical practice issues which are observed in given case amongwhich some are given below:Early discharge involvesthe situation of Ysabel in hospital A where she was initiallyadmitted but did not get any relief from medication and continue experiencing severe pain andvomiting for 24 hours. It is necessary to monitor and examine several hormonal levels of patientin an accurate manner to make sure that now the condition is stable and if any problem is found1

than the discharge certificate should not be provided. In this case, previously the local health carehome where Ysable deliver a pre mature baby and therefore it was required to keep her underobservation to ensure that she is medically fit and in a condition to be discharged.(Source: Inflammation of gall bladder, 2018)The above image has shown an infected gall bladder due to having gallstones and thebile duct which get blocked in case of Ysable when gallbladder get burst at the time of surgery. Negligence in care taking refers to ignoring behaviour of medical staff members whenthey do not observe patients carefully and just complete their mandatory tasks as per instructionsof their superiors (Cope, 2014). It is essential for medical professional to closely monitorindividuals to analyse their actual conditions and take required action to make them relief fromparticular health problem immediately. In case of Ysable, medications were given to her by staffnurses but it was never rechecked that weather the treatment given to her is working or not. Hercondition therefore started becoming worse. Postponed surgery repeatedly can be explained about postpone surgery can be explainedas to make patient prepare for surgical process and then delay that due to few of emergency casesand fix on another day (Brinkert, 2011). Before conducting surgery, a person should not eatanything before at least 12 hours and take light meal one day before operation.
