Training is refers to the teaching andlearning activities carried out on for the primary objective of helping the employees of thecompany so as they can improve their knowledge, skill, ability and capability about the workingin the business unit. Training and development is the best source for the company through whichit can improve the performance and efficiency of employees. In addition to this with assistanceof the training and development programs, company can able to improve the personality andprofessionalism of employees which assist in improving the entire growth and development oforganisation. The following research proposal is going to provide depth knowledge andunderstand about the importance of training and development. In addition, various kinds ofmethods of training will also discuss in this research proposal. The Hilton hotel is facing theissue related to ineffective and poor performance of personnels which directly influence businessperformance and profitability in the market. Hilton hotel is a global brand of full service hotelsand resort and the flagship brand of Hilton. It deals with accommodation services in the UK andits main objective is to deliver the high quality of services to customer and gain high profitabilityand market share. Due to the lack of training and development programs, company needed tounderstand the importance of training and organise it in an effective manner. In order to improvethe profitability and productivity, company requires organising training and developmentprograms. This research proposal will use various research methodologies describe in order tofind the appropriate solution of the research topic. With assistance of the various researchmethodologies like research design, research philosophies, research approach, data collection,data analysis, investigator can identify the appropriate solution of the research problem in thisfollowing research proposal.1
