confidential government documents to the press about existence of government surveillance
programs. Snowden broke the law and he caused harm to their national security that was the
serious problem and might be affected the human being life. This is important for each individual

action. His action brings benefits of making accountable a person and following the all laws
which are important to follow.

Yes, Snowden's actions were ethically justified for his “Whistleblowing” by defining that
it was his duty that “to inform the public as to that which is done in their names and what is done
against them.” According to U.S. Government, actions of Snowden violated the Espionage Act
of 1917. As laws and regulations are important which is required to be followed by each
individual, in case of not following then it will be consider as violation. In the given case, many
agreed with Snowden as many this person has violated the regulations which was not loyalty
oath but it was an contract, and less important than social contract a democracy has with
citizenry.
